Hot take. I encourage everyone to desert

so am i, buddy.

on second thoughts, you’re not consistent at all with most of your own takes.

… so no…
you flip flop left and right with most things.
… this one one the other hand, i suppose kinda remained unchanged.

but it’s not here nor there i suppose.

Of course. I just doubt just doing something that doesn’t work now, more, will help much as it is. Until other measures are taken with it. Which I know is not the forte of devs, sadly.

No. But that’s not what I proposed from the get go. I only proposed the removal of victory bonus (or looser penalty depending on how it’s seen). Since victory is largely team dependant and many, maaaany players here keep complaining about teams, even to the point of…
Desertion…
If rewards are only awarded through self merit, winning or losing woud not matter as much and players would concentrate on fun, imo.

That’s how it was in sooo many older games, and ppl just fought til the end, even in harsh losing battles.

Would help a bit anyway.

Possible. But I’ve seen it work really well in other games, such as Red Orchestra.

Players love choice (or the illusion of)

In the end, what we can all agree on, is something can, and should, be done to improve the situation. We only disagree on what.

Oh, really? And in what way do you think I’ve changed my mind? I’ve never denied that I’ll desert if it’s convenient for me.

The only difference is that before, I was in the middle of the research grind. Now I’m not. So my priorities are obviously completely different in relation to exp/silver income.

Would 20% penalty stop me from deserting every losing match back then? Not really, as victory bonus will still overweight it.

Or did I say I think rally points are a fun concept?

i don’t think we’re even having the same conversation lol.

i’m responsable for what i say, not what you understand.

but i’m being honest when i say you do it on a base.
all to avoid accountability as Captain said.

Which i’m sure wouldn’t take too long, but why bother.
Beside, you did indeed made your profile private.

( i wonder why uh… i imagine too many adoring fans of yours eager to share lectures aproving of your ever so highly populars " opinions " ) Mr platon’pee.

Then don’t butt into ongoing debates when you have no idea what’s going on. It’s that simple.

You can? Too many loosers trying to prove a point by looking at my profile or looking at match recordings.

This type of stalking is very disgusting to be honest.

Actually 100% true. On a campaign witha very onesided playerbase, it was so bad that you basically were playing 1v10 every single match.

Deserting until you finally find a match with a couple of half decent players was your only chance to get some exp. It was truly terrible.

i get to censor meany or funny comments and share them for a laugh or two.

… but i must admit.

despite being open, i don’t receive a whole lot of strange individuals.

… i get compliments instead.
which it’s nice for once but i digress.

Well you are doing gods work - hard to find someone hating on you.

That being said, I have never seen you having strong or controversial balance opinions - helps alot keeping it civil around most people…

but war thunder exists for that, enlisted is more likely combined arms game and blah blah blah
wouldnt be more logical to play war thunder?

Wow. Just… wow.

Yeah… because the longer you play you still haven’t realized that a core mechanic of the game is an essential tool to winning… of course most don’t care about that and only selfishly do things for their own enjoyment… in which case why those players don’t play only customs is beyond me… you don’t want to contribute to the team you shouldn’t expect to play with one either.

I mean he just said vehicles are the only reason why he plays the game and whats more than annoying for a vehicle fanatic than not being able to camp enemy miles away from spawn while they also have alredy flanked from another side and they also have panzerfausts aiming at the tank

The desert statistics are hilarious. I’d guess mine is high and I have no shame.

There may be hundreds of reasons to quit any one game and most of those reasons are created by the developers.

Just the very nature of these 25k events encourages a quick exit if a players is struggling. It is arguably a complete waste of time to finish a match that won’t yield much XP. Yeah admittedly that is kind of an ate up mentality. Especially when it comes to proper teamwork and competition. But neither of those things truly exist in Enlisted so screw it. We’re all just here for the XP anyways.

Shoot… I recall a time when I first started playing Enlisted. It was during an event. I set up a machine gun by a friendly tanker to help hold off the attackers. When he saw that I was getting some kills (denying him XP) he stopped killing the enemy, turned and broke my MG, then resumed killing the enemy.

So yeah I agree with you mate. Quit to your hearts content.

That’s pretty mean and silly that he would get out of the tank and destroy you’re mg so he could get ‘more’ xp which he might not even be able to get.

Don’t even need to get out… he must’ve just rolled on it… happened to me too.

I’m anything but a camper. You can just check out any of my replays, lol.

By the way, I just found out that none of my battles from the 29th are listed on the Enlisted roll call. So the statistics don’t even reflect reality.

well most vehicle users just go into this cycle since on most cases they are free food if they get to close but if you say you are not doing it well idk?, how do you play vehicles to beggin with? if most vehicle gameplay is placing urself on a decent spot with clear view and then spamming HE untill you ammo rans out?
