High rate of fire reising smg

In some point during ww2 the people whom made the Reising smg, tried to get a military contract for some time, a idea they took and made was an simple blow back design, at the moment I couldn’t find much on the design for now.
(If you got more evidence or documentation talking about the gun I would love to see them)

Underlined the two interest of the topic.

reising 1 has a label called Del for short in delayed blowback, while reising 2 has a label called bb for blowback aka open bolt.

Further documentation of the gun in trial through the Aberdeen Proving Grounds.

This the only real mention of the reising in the document with several other guns in the selection.

I am coming from the conclusion the documents mentioned, the model of Reising was a unique M55 model, being an open bolt design with a notably higher rate of fire.

Stats
Rpm 750rpm not upgraded / 900 rpm upgraded
Recoil 25 vert 25 horz (with -50% while aiming perk)
Dispersion 56 with its dispersion reduction advantage it would have
Reload time be 2.0s
Dmg it be the usual like the other .45 acp guns

That’s wild and a good idea. Strange yet grounded prototypes or limited production models like that which offer significant gameplay differences are great potential additions.

Also it’s not another damned Thompson yeah it’s still in .45 acp, also in the document I put into citation there are some weird stuff, like example an Thompson “m1” which was probably a prototype version of it, and some other cool stuff like a smg that was meant for guerrillas, but you can quick swap barrels to shoot ether .45 and 9mm, it went, uh, interestingly.

BR 5 are you crazy.

I think he voted that as a joke

750-900??? rpm 45 acp in BR1???

Yeah the least it will be is like br2

This seems to perform similarly to the Soviet PPT-27. It has a high fire rate, and it’s totally plausible for it to land at BR1. After all, the PPD-34 is already in BR1 too. This gun looks like an early vintage model.

Difference is dmg the PPD-34 does 6.4 and PPT 6.4 this will do 8.4 like the M1928 USMC, BSA and M1921 which are all br2

That’s not bad. The submachine guns at Allied BR 2 still lack sufficient fire rate.

You got a solid all rounder it’s called a lanchester mk1 use it or for me the Owen mk1

Okay. Thing is most players basically regard the PPS-42 as the best BR2 submachine gun, leaving the Lancaster completely overlooked. Not to mention the Owen gun either. Its sights are tiny, plus the top-mounted magazine blocks vision on one side, giving it two major drawbacks.

Looking at it this way, Germany is still missing a high-rate-of-fire SMG for the BR2 tier roster.

Not particularly the PPS-43 is too well rounded that’s the main issue of the SMG too accurate, high rate of fire, decent magazine size

Lanchester has okay rate of fire and it accurate and no recoil Germany can get another Beretta M38A variant but they would look almost the same as the 40 round one if we added a 30 rnd one for Germany they have nothing maybe except the MP-35/I but it’s gonna need some neefs for br2
