I just started the full grind on Japan and well it’s not going well, I need some tips and tricks please.

I recommend staying in br 2. Use arisaka type 38, Ho-i, a6m2, type 100 and the excellent type 97 lmg with scope. Pray that you don’t have to face br 3 soviets

play BR2, i started at br1 and it was boring and i finished the tech tree in a few weeks
use: type otsu rifel
100 smg early, dont use 50 rd mp 28

universal carrier squad
if ur F2P,
one 9 man
one assaulter
one mg
tank ( you waste ALOT of time taking off from carriers)

and try to play with other ppl, i play with ppl sometimes, youll win more ofc

The type Hei rifle is fun af
If u were lucky to have the universal carrier for Japan as well, an absolute tank at BR2

Japan actually has the best non-straight pulled Bolt Action rifle - being Arisaka Type 38; Plus you get the best AT rifle in game. The only drawback is that sometimes you get uptiered to face USSR BR2, where it’s kinda tough to fight against PPS42/43.
Try to have some fun in BR1. Japanese BR1 is really powerful,

Thanks for the help but I don’t really think it’s going to help, I played a couple of games and I only had one or two human teammate against BR3 Soviets with like 7 real player’s. So it’s going to be a long grind.

Take the Milk Truck Squad,Assaulter Squad and the Guerilla squad and give them only stamina and speed bonuses and give them Swords you start with them rush the point or with the milk truck game over. If you have time you may take engineer squad but BR II matches sometimes are so fast that there is time just for apcs. If you wanna become a pilot take the Zero best plane to learn how to be a pilot after this you will never touch it probably xD

I love the zero. It’s iconic and fun to use… it just sucks it can no longer repair on carriers.

Well Ground attackers funny enough they buffed the roll rate on the BR III Zero so its not as one dimensional as the BR II Zero. The BR II Zero is very good plane if you have no skill and learn to play a pilot but after this you prefer even a BF since its more fun to play. The BR I BF is far more interesting then the Zero.
do you have arisaka mortars?
if yes you have half of the work done
Japan has the strongest average teams thats a fact so 4 stacking is not that reccomended as on other factions but if you want to do it go on…
spam swords the reason is more than obvious 120% speed buff by just some silver
grind squads fast you can do ignore some stuff like:
Snipers
MG gunner 1-2
medics
either planes or tanks depending on what you like
assault 3 (since 2 has so many strong points on low brs)
mortars
riders
you MUST focus on getting this:
AT gunner 2
Rifleman 2
engginier 2
radio man 2
APC
optional:
assaulter 4
guerrilla
try to focus on infantery gameplay since now has become very profitable with the most recent updates if you dont know what gear to use ill give you some meta stuff:
for ground br 1 spam type38 rifle (not carabine) and type 100 early the type 97 at rifle is top tier use it if possible
on br 2: keep using the type 38 rifle, use the MP 28 and use the AT rifle you like the most and use APC
now finally on the sweat spot aka BR3: you can use bolties if you hate semi autos, remember arisaka mortar? well use it… is an unerfed Granade launcher and very fun to use weapon and tbh when it comes to smgs i dont remember which was better XD, also use APC since the japanese Apc is very solid and gives you lot of XP
ofc this is a boring meta guide if you want to have fun and use whatever you want do it asloong you build rallies and use apcs kill, and cap objectives you will perform good anyways regardless you use pistols or machine guns
ah yes and if you strugle on br 3 or have no arisaka mortar switch back to BR 2
I recomend geting a swear jar ready. You will say unholy things and cuss in 4 langauges
