After encountering several instances of diving, the wing on one side would automatically detach.

It’s a bug for the Mk IX model of Spitfire specifically, which started happening after last major update.
It has been forwarded as a bug, but despite the fact that it is utterly debilitating to the vehicle it hasn’t been fixed yet - even though we’ve had multiple patches since the update’s release.
One wonders what is taking so long…?

I submitted a bug like 2+ weeks ago about rejoining a game after a network issue and having it sit at the spawn screen with no one listed on the scoreboard while the killfeed scrolls along listing all my teammates as “teammate” and never allowing me to spawn in, and i just got an email back telling me to make sure my GPU drivers and windows are up to date, so…not sure how much they read bug reports.
Yeh it has crippled my beauty, hopefully devs fix it soon. Where is your CBR post, I will join the people affected on there …
Boomerang will take the place of the spitfire until it is fixed
