The GVG machine gun was an attempt to replace the DP-27 and Maxim-Tokarev machine guns with one new, simplified design. In addition to this version fed by DP pan magazines, a belt-fed version was also developed, which eventually evolved into the SG-43 medium machine gun.

The design initially had a very high rate of fire, 850-1050 rounds per minute. This was eventually reduced to 660-765 before being trialled by NIPSVO KA. The proposed in-game variant is the early version.

Would be a sick addition, it always sucks not having more than one weapon to choose from for a lineup

seems similar to the mg 34

ew no

That’s rare indeed, even helpers and forum people play after all. This would make for a interesting weapon choice. We still need a alternative to the madsen in BR II. any MG though would work though in this case, Especially since this is BR IV and would give a bit more variety. This is actually a good pick. Question is would the belt fed become another potential option for another MG?
