I just noticed that gold chests are mentioned in the update video.
And since that video certainly wasn’t made from scratch this morning, it means the gold chests were already ready for use at least a week ago.
They released them at the last minute, hoping to get away with it, but the backlash was so severe that they had to postpone it (postpone, not remove, as the community requested).
At this point, I wonder how much content that could blow up in the developers’ faces is being created right now, wasting resources and time instead of simply showing previews and asking the community if it’s a stupid idea or not.

I mean really, I for one FEEL as effective with any reasonable lineup, premium squad or tech tree, I play mostly premium because lol moar silvers ftw. I have infinitely more fun with mixed BR lineups - BR I - II premium squads with “imperfect” stat points and definately not min-maxed, with secondary weapons for whatever BR I want so I get exp/silver bonus AND get to play tech tree weapons on premium squads than min-maxing lvl 5 assaulters with bullshit lineups or “armor” which technically makes a big difference, mathematically, but I’m not feeling it and not using it and I’m not losing any sleep over it whatsoever; I would rather bitch more about being able to switch premium weapon on squad to secondary slot than about allowing whales to whale. Even if you statistically lose 1 out of 10 games because there is some whale sporting fancy gear, which could be overstated, what is the point? there are more chances to lose because some asianni66er is just camping in an exotic bush sniping instead of actually playing or some console body positive american is larping around aimlessly

talk about greed… customization in-game sucks, too expensive and limited
90% of Stalingrad was captured by the germans. The desperate remaining 10%, no matter how unlikely, was enough to switch the entire invasion back into the other direction - (because they did not give up)
The devs can do so too and save the game, no matter how unlikely - (if they do not give up either)
(but we will see if they do love their Enlisted, or if this might have been a planned self sabotaging act in the first place)

First thing , do you intend to Fix those berets , I don’t think those British Commandos are British for one thing , especially with those berets which has H7 which is for King Haakon VII of norway Implying them to be Norwegians , yet they speak English , at least change their lines to those of Norwegian.
Funniest thing is that Norwegians served as part of British commandos under No. 10 Commando , No.5 troops , which if you look at game the unit is No.1 Commando .
That means they can’t be Norwegians since there was no unit in No.1 Commando which was based on other nationality , like whatever .
Anyhow I guess shareholders want more money.

How about creating a pickup system for squads, vehicles, or weapons?
They shouldn’t because the squad itself it British too, there definately shouldn’t be any Norwegians in there, or Norwegian badges.
