Overview
The GMC CCKW 2½-ton 6×6 truck, commonly known as the “Deuce and a Half,” was one of the most important vehicles of the U.S. Army during World War II. It served as the primary medium truck for troop and cargo transport across all theaters; Western Europe, North Africa, and the Pacific. Its reliability and production scale made it vital to Allied supply lines including the famed “Red Ball Express” in France.
While the Studebaker US6 already appears in Enlisted in the US tech tree as the sole APC unlock, I would make an argument it should have been in the USSR tech tree instead since majority of it was sent to USSR as part of the lend-lease rather than being used by the U.S. Army but It should be a separate post. Beside, the GMC CCKW-353 already appears as a neutral drivable in Pacific maps.
To better represent the American logistical backbone, the GMC CCKW-353 should be added as a U.S. tech tree vehicle, foldered with the Studebaker US6.
