The Glisenti pistol was originally designed to fire a 7.65×22mm bottle-neck cartridge.[1] The pistol being known as the Model 1906 began production in 1908.[1] The Model 1906 failed to impress the Royal Italian Army and was requested to fire a round similar to the German 9×19mm Parabellum.[1] The redesign was named the Model 1910 and was formally adopted by the Royal Italian Army as the Pistola Automatica Modello 1910. To reduce recoil and because of the pistol’s weak locking design, the Model 1910 had to fire the 9mm Glisenti.[1][6] The 9mm Glisenti is structurally similar to the 9×19mm Parabellum but has a reduced charge and muzzle velocity.[1]

The Glisenti Model 1910, although unpopular among Italian soldiers, was produced until 1934. After using the Glisenti Model 1910 during World War I, the Italian army abandoned the Glisenti pistol for the Beretta M1934. The Glisenti Model 1910 saw limited use by the Italians during World War II. After that, however, it was no longer a standard-issue service weapon.

Its a shame the lack of Italian and UK/Commonwealth weapons in the game overall. How many Italian pistols are in game 2 both are fine Berreta pistols. Outside of adding a revolver and a pistol the M1910 is one of the best options for an Italian pistol. In real life it was bad but just like several Japanese pistols Enlisted makes the best of bad guns.

If you’re planning to make one for the Webley Self-Loading Pistol, could I convince you not to…?
I’m working on a concept already, just figuring out if I want to include a event Royal Horse Artillery squad at the same time (the only Army branch that used the gun, not counting the flying corp which no longer existed come WW2, due to the founding of the RAF).

.455 Webley Auto, naturally. Don’t want the civilian/police version when there’s a perfectly acceptable military version which was adopted.
As far as I am aware, the Royal Navy, the Royal Flying Corp, and the Royal Horse Artillery all used the same version.
I’ve actually had the idea for this event since the Mars pistol event happened some time ago, it’s not related to the current Soviet pistol events.
we have plenty of us, german weapons in factions that had partners
its far more excusable in the ussr, japan factions who were almost the entire faction
the mars is crazy closer to a carbine than a pistol
i just love options but being a yank a real one i like big bullets god blesss browning
i wonder why so many non americans call all americans yank
it be like calling all uk citizens welch or scott, or highlander or some other region limited name
Well, some do call all of them English…
You’d know if you weren’t a Yank.
