Give spawn priority to the person who made the rally point

Rally points are essential to success, but unfortunately, many people feel that they are underused or ignored. We already have a system where points are given if a rally point is used, and this is a great step in the right direction. However, I think that we can take it further by giving spawn priority to the person who built the spawn point.

Say the person who made the rally point (we’ll call them player 1) has selected to spawn at a rally point that they have previously built. Now, a few seconds earlier, another player (player 2) has decided that they also want to spawn at this point.

Currently, the priority would be given to player 2, since they selected to spawn at this point first. However, my suggestion is that instead of letting player 2 spawn, player 1 should be given priority, since they were the person who built the rally. Perhaps a message could pop up on player 2’s screen, saying something along the lines of “the builder of this point has selected to spawn here and has been given priority”. This way player 2 won’t be confused as to why someone else spawned in before them.

My hope is that implementing this suggestion will incentivize players to build more rally points, as there will be a greater reward for doing so.

Yes please, and don’t let teammates destroy them either.

Priority isn’t necessary. But! I would add more bonus xp to the engineer each time a teamate use it.

Always LET US destroy friendly spawn points. There’s STILL complete retards building those into atics for their own personal use “cuz I wanna snipe ALL match from that ONE window here” or fools surrounding them with sandbags and barbed wire.

Friendly spawn point destruction must remain.

This, and the rally point queue needs to work properly.

And there are still complete retards destroying them to place their own or even worse just to troll. Create your own rally if you are not happy with the one you spawned at, there’s always uncertainty when spawning on others’ spawn. While I have spawned in attics I have never spawned surrounded by barbed wire, that sounds extremely rare.

it’s not a problem it works very well the current system the problem arises when 10 idiots want to spawn from the same point instead of creating another one a little further away

Agreed that is the main issue at the moment. People not making their own spawns but just relying on the 1 dude in the team that makes it and then bottlenecking the spawns.

Not really the main issue … I create spawns quite often but they are usually removed by someone who build’s their spawn in the same spot .

This type ,of behavior is both selfish and self serving … In the time it takes for them to remove my point and build theirs, we could have already capped the point …

I understand that there are few good places around each point where a spawn can be built. But if a rally is already there then think of the team instead of yourself . Build somewhere else …

No they are not removed if you check your spawn are here but if another player build another rallypoint in 50m from yours, your rallypoint be disabled by the game

Then why build so close to another rally point if one is already there???

I dont know maybe they actually dont know how wiew rallypointpoint location with enginer map and build another one

No it does not. I’ve been booted from spawning on rallies so many times, not even because enemies are nearby. The queue function doesn’t work.

That hardly is the main issue. One in 10 games a spawn gets destroyed +/- and every single game there is maybe 1 or 2 people building a rally point. Every game you lose is most likely due to not enough rally points. I would say the latter is way more impactfull than the one rally point that gets destroyed.

You building a rally point does not mean every single player builds a rally point, it just means you do. Which is great because you are not part of the problem.

To my understanding is that when you build 2 rally points you have 2 cooldowns on that spawn. They dont go faster but 2 squads can spawn at the same time.

it works the system is based on the spawn time of a player if you have 7 seconds to spawn and another player has 3 he will spawn before you and you are delayed but if 10 players want to spawn from the same point it is normal that the wait increases by 10 times

rallypoints do not go faster the time is always the same, the first is only disabled by the second

N1, also this is about a “Self-made” points, that you made prior for yoursefl
I think we should also add a private rally points - like, if you building it far from point, creating an own sniper/LMG nest. 1 squad far from the point is enough, others shouldn’t respawn far, since that causing loses.

Nope it would break the game something like that everyone would build 10 rallypoints in one place you must be wrong

Its the whole reason you can build rally points close to eachother

But they dont work like you said
