Never ever seen that. If you build them close you can spawn on both.
If one would cancel the other out it is the same as destroying it. The devs are working on that not happening. So might be a bug on your intend but for sure not intended content from devs.

You are the one noticing a problem not me. For me it is working as the devs released it during the rally rework.
I’s been my experience (in Normandy Campaign )… There are very few good locations to build a rally point close to an objective …
I have been the victim of poorly placed rally points that got my squad wiped. So it the quality of the spawn point not just the quantity …

Both, quality is more important but if the skill level of the enemy is equal to yours they will catch on and farm the one rally point. If you build multiple that wont be the case and one can cover the other.
Thats not how this works. I say it works as intended and promoted. You say it does not so the burden of proof lays with you.

Sorry I am not going to do the work for you. I dont care enough to spend time on this and make a video about something you think is not working properly.
Again, how silly would it be that the devs release a patch that says people wont be able to destroy eachothers rally points anymore (melee still works but the rest they fixed) but hang on we implement something new that when you place a rally point close to another one that one is disabled effectively destroying it with extra steps.
They implemented batching for rally points and everyone on the forum was “alright fair enough” I have not seen anyone except you say that it disables the rally point.

Good idea, maybe some other people noticed the same issue you have.
If I chose the rally point before someone else, I should be going first. Same as if another player selected it before me. I get the Time until Respawn thing but it’s still retarded.
Exactly, and it’s not always just the game putting you in another spawn nearby. I’ve caught people in the act of stabbing my spawn only to build a new one and then the game degenerates into hacking down each others spawns and sabotaging the match.
Melee still working means they haven’t really fixed it at all.

I do think it’s a selfish and self centered act and if they have to rely on that kind of tactic to get a few more xp then whatever … I really equate it to team killing and should be prevented.
It does tick me off but I don’t get vindictive about it and destroy their rally … As you said it hurts the whole team effort when that happens …
I report them and move on. Don’t know if anything ever comes of my reports, but unsporting behavior pretty much covers all the BMing.
Just remove the timeout entirely, it’s useless.
If one team have 2 engineers and they put 2 rally at the same point, they remove the timer for their team.
Right now this system only makes teams, which already are in bad spot if they barely have one engineer, suffer even more.
