SO if you want to go with such broad comparisons, you should use the same with your chaffee and consider it as vehicle.

two there both being treated as riflemen weapons they should be judged by that
jeeps and trucks were unarmored, and some unarmed
if the fg42 was limited to paratroopers it could be held to that standard it is not
vehicles regardless, just like the chaffee.
Both shares about equally similarities as fg42 / k98 or truck / tank.

with exact same logic as you put BA & SA rifles to same category with SF rifle. They have nothing in common except being firearms.
You jump out of tank and get in truck, or spawn the quad AA truck.

and if it required a special class you would have a point, if we had 0-+ matchmaking you would have a point but sf rifles can fight sa rifles and be used by the same any class that can use rifles. so its fair and again tankers can only use tanks and take up a tank slot, apcs or trucks can take up an infantry or tank slot in game they are not the same thing. also the fg42 is a carbine putting it into the same group as the m1 and m2, but there all treated as rifles.
T24E1 could fill this role. It’s an M24 Chaffee paired with a Continental R975-C4 engine, giving the vehicle a new top speed of 77 km/h. You could either give it APCR, or possibly even the experimental 75/57mm HVAPCDS 28-75D shell.

Why do you need medium barrel 75… or even a 75 t all with more than a stubby in BR2? Let alone with experimental shells or apcr.
