Give IS-2 APCBC Rounds

Hitrate is not the issue with bombing, it’s mostly the skill of both teams. Tiger II can ‘angle’ its armor by just turning the gun slightly to the side and causing all your shots to fail to penetrate, I’ve experienced it on both sides. There are a LOT of long-range sightlines in Enlisted, and you also have to consider the angle of the shell vertically compared to the armor at longer ranges.
War Thunder test penetration is a lot different than how it would be in Enlisted gameplay, even in organic War Thunder gameplay. You can see that the effective protection is increased on the second image, but it’s penetrating the thin track add-on armor. The bottom image seems to just be buggy penetration physics like in Sprocket. In Enlisted, you can maybe get that exact angle to work at close range, but even then unreliably.

actually, because of the faster reloading in the first place, you need to play too carefully with the IS2, and plan each shot a lot in advance, because if the enemy sees a kill from a 122 mm cannon in the kill list, he will know for sure that he has 22 seconds of safety in which he can roll out right in front of the tank and do 1 fatal shot at the tower

We need ISU-152 to destroy German tanks

Calm down isnt T44 100 better ?

Honestly is a t34 100 but with better armor

the t-34-100 is actually just a t-34-85 with a 100mm barrel. still just as easy to pen with a tiger 1 or 2

A lot of people like it because the only other reliable (not counting faust-sniping from across the map of using planes) long-range way to front-pen a Tiger 2H is the su-100.

The T44 100 is the T34 100 but with armor thicker than the IS-2 1944 variant. The crazy thing is that it wouldn’t be out of place in Enlisted, since a prototype was made before the end of WW2 and the original T44 model entered full production also before the end of WW2.

this, ISU 152 can fill up that role

The mass production model of ISU 152 has terrible armor pen unless they finally give high-caliber HE the (realistic) ability to damage internal components and crew without penetrating.

Its a very cool tank and should be addded…

But it isnt going to do anything better than whats already available… You will still get pumped through the front, you will still have a massive reload time, and you will still have to shoot the same spot as the KV 2 or IS-2 (short of a HEAT round, which is pretty unreliable)…BR 4 might get a little use out of it. BR 5 wont

really fun Tank!, wont change the dynamics though

My brother, I totally respect you for even hinting at an improvement for the Soviets on this forum. My respects. I hope they don’t screw you over in your replies and don’t tell you that the Tiger II is the worst BR-V tank and that it needs the penetration values from the controlled tests… oh wait, it already has them.

They will never give APCBC to the 122mm guns for two reasons:

1- the gun could pierce the Tiger II at over 1000 meters and would anger the German players (the whole forum).

2- this forum would never allow such a thing. They cried until they released the PPSh-41 Brammit, and then complained about the AVT-20.

They haven’t given APCR to the IS-1, T-34-85, or SU-85M, for that very reason. So unfortunately, we have to make do with what we have in BR-V (I play Germans and USSR like crazy, so I understand. your nonconformity).

soviet won’t 122mm
only 100mm can save them
122mm reload speed is SHIT Scat(22sec)
T-44-100 only save soviet
but still, KTH more better then this.
Ho-Ri > KTH > T-44-100 > T26E-1 > T-34-100 >>>>>>> IS-2 (1944)

It would be about a side-grade at that point, since the T-44-100 would only have slightly more difficulty front-penning the KTH but with the skill issue a lot of BRV German players have and their weaker top armor it would even out.

KTH is highly valued because it also has the ability to kill and sustain infantry.
I evaluate in every way, and KTH is excellent in every way.
Oh, of course, Ho-Ri is more appreciated than KTH because it has the best front armor and ground killing power.

Ho-Ri is more balanced because the maps that it is used on has a lot more flank routes for tanks and it doesn’t have a pintle-mounted HMG and a coax that shreds infantry.

Honestly, if it was available, that would have been the downside… but in this game, tank are not a drawback because they mostly camp in the Grey Zone.
The ability to kill infantry is the number one among all tanks because of its HE power of 105mm and very fast reloading speed.
It also doesn’t show the sides, so just the front armor need to be high.

I checked the stats, and that RoF for 105mm is kinda insane. I guess I agree with it being op.

Honestly, Ho-Ri itself is a delusion that doesn’t even exist, so all the stat is also a delusion itself.
It’s too fast to say that there are two loader

You could argue that all the Soviet tanks with 2-stage ammo have 2 loaders with the commander alive, and they have the fully realistic rate-of-fire.

Ho-ri has a special weakness not everyone know about:

It is partly considered open top. Because the canon on this vehicle is gigantic, when aiming up (or down?), part of the top plate opens up to leave maneuvering space.

Because of this, REGULAR artillery fire AND REGULAR mortar fire will explode the vehicle!

It’s also more vulnerable to strafing plane runs than real closed top vehicles.

I haven’t tried, but I bet molotov cocktails may also yield funny results.
