I actually don’t like giving my troops fancy pistols, they’re for officers only, and even that is extravagant. 
I want to give my troops a weapon, not a museum peice.

each of my fighters is the elite of the troops of the faction in which they are located, so it’s okay to arm them with the most show-off weapons, the same fighter who is attached to my screenshot confirms this, this is the most elite of the elite fighters of the military, which I will not specify (but in order for this self-deception to work, I ignore the description of the units, this is how I avoid ludonarrative dissonance)
Everyones headcanon is equal, I wasn’t trying to belittle you, just stating how I like to treat my men.
I like to pretend I’m running a real military company; I’m already spending a lot of favours with HC getting all the specialised gear I need for my men, better not worry them with additional requests for engraved or otherwise decorated firearms as well, I’m already on a watchlist!

I hope you don’t feel prosecuted here, or that there is some sort of double standard, FN Herstal produced almost 300.000 during the course of the war until liberation, that’s not a insubstantial number.

How about M1932/M712 Schnellfeuer for Japan and Germany 
or Maschinenpistole M.12 Patrone 16 I mean we dont need to copy all the stuff there is a lot of options for pistols for Germany.

That’s an event gun and imo it should stay like that. Would be cool to see it as an event gun for Japan tho
