Nazi Germany captured many rifles after the invasion of Belgium. The standard Fusil 35 was designated Gewehr 262(b) [6] and the sniping rifle Zielfernrohrgewehr 264(b) .[6] These rifles were used by second-line German units.[2]
The Mauser Gewehr 1898 with Visar 2 3/4x scope is available in Battle of Moscow campaign for Axis side and is unlocked at Campaign Level 24 along with the Sniper II squad. 1 rifle is given for free to the only sniper in the squad, and more rifles can be additionally purchased using in-game currency. The scope cannot be removed.

One Germany used these in WW2 as a rifle and a sniper rifle for second line units. Second to add some Belgian flavor while giving more love to bolties. Would love to see this in the game as a br1 even being a 5 round rifle. not lacking bolt action or snipers i still propose this rifle because Germany lol.
