As you can see, its reload animation should more closely resemble that of the Mannlicher M93 rifle.

These are 2 seperate models of the Gewehr 1888, that one, and earlier model, used the mannlicher style clips, and the modernized G88/05 version in game that uses mauser stripper clips

The gun is correct the model name is wrong it’s a 1888/05 it’s a modification that took clip instead of Mblock you can tell based on the fact the hole the mblock goes through in the magazine is closed
