G43 in 7.92 possible framework for STG44?

I just thought that the G43 in 7.92 Kurz looks like a good framework for the STG-44.

Its a select-fire gun (although 3-round burst instead of full auto), has a 30 round magazine and fires the same cartridge.

Am I missing something or could that really be a nice framework to base the STG-44s parameters on?

Sadly so far I don’t believe I have ever encountered somebody else using one (playing Lone Fighter so no idea who kills who with what exactly).

A G43 in 7.92 Kurz squad would have made a great option for a choice between PPK-42 for sovjets or G43 in 7.92 Kurz for germany, but eh. I am almost not butthurt about that anymore.

So what do you guys think, can we expect the STG-44 to behave similarly to the G43 in 7.92 Kurz?
Do you think the G43 in 7.92 Kurz is OP, would the STG-44 be?

I really want this thread to stay polite and I am also giving it my best this time. Any insulting posts will be flagged.

The StG and variants/protoypes have already been in the game several times for tests and such, they simply haven’t implemented them again. But overall they perform roughly the same if not better.

Which kind of sucks since the balance in Berlin could make use of it.

Especially after getting something like the VG1-5. (Which I will NEVER stop being butthurt and disappointed about.)

The extremely unnecessary emojis make me cringe quite a bit.

The STG-44 already is ready. The Gewehr 43 Kurz Paper gun Is not a test of it (And most likely never had any burst fire in 1944 in the first place).

That is all.

I was worried, that people would take that part of the post as more complaining as it is meant to be. but I don’t like them either, so I removed them.

How did you get the info, that the STG is ready and do you have any vage release timing?

Because I helped test it in the alpha

You didn’t play the Pre-Alpha did you?
It was also present during Normandy CBT

it was my understanding a select fire prototype was built.

While the G43 kurz never made it to serial production, I’d say this is far from a paper gun.

Its about as real as the Kalashnikov PPK-42s 2 only ever built prototypes, and here we are, getting a 4 man squad equipped with it.

Was actually going to reference the PPK-42

Couple of hand built models and that’s it. I think it fits as a BP weapon.

@LegoProdigy tf emojis are you talking about.

->One weapon made
->Bro lots of squads of it in the game now.

At least it isnt a great weapon.

I had Emojis in the original post, that I have since removed

As far as the precedence set by Enlisted devs I’d say it fits.

What do you think the reason is, that they haven’t released the StG44 back into the game yet, if it is ready?

They are holding it back to release it with the next set of campaign levels and god knows whatever else they are rolling into that update.

I’d expect the STG44 to come along with 10 levels for both Germany, soviets.

10 levels?
Moscow and Normandy are both 29 levels. Do you think they will go up to 36 for Berlin?

40 or 50 levels were confirmed as the limit IIRC.

@Rickyd123 @5100343 @Rickyd123
Yall remember what they said the campaign cap was for levels?

" The current campaigns are expected to have over 40 levels in the final version."- Developer’s Q&A - June - News - Enlisted
so 40 levels have been confirmed but they could easily have more

ah okay thanks!

Yeah so we can expect bare minimum of 40.

So yeah I’d assume the STG44 will drop towards the tail end of any campaign, in a group of 10 levels per side.

It’s how they’ve added content in the past, doubt they will start piece mealing it now.
