Who voted no on that one? I bet Soviets that dont want to see a 25 round selectfire rifle because they think that would be OP - not realising that this burst fedorov rifle got turned to full auto now and has 25 rounders aswell. ( and not a kinda slow rate of fire of 500+ like you proposed)
It is noteworthy that the rifle retains a bayonet lug, despite the impossibility of mounting the bayonet. It is highly probable that the mounting fixture for the optical sight has also been preserved on the right side of the receiver.
I run G43s in BR V because I don’t like giving Airforce weapons to my Army soldiers, I’d rather use prototypes than weapons not meant for a specific brance of service.
I need my company to be bureaucratically compliant over historicly accurate.
Red parrots adding propper counterparts for germany? it must be a dream : O
now being more serious it could be a perfect federov counterpart as assault rifle
honestly as SF could work aswell but idk i dont want to see 9 man squads running with prototypes likes if seeing fg42 II on massive numbers wasnt enough it would instantly turn into a circus like japan vs US br 5 with the T20 and the Type hei automatic
ah yes and i have another reason because i dont wanna see this gun as sf because that way all the countless times i asked guns like the initial mosin and specially the fg42 II to have its bayonet would be worthless (and because is a great opportunity to balance the AR department)
fedorov rifle is just a fancy toy now
1100 ROF and 1.7x recoil per shot than FG42 II make it basiclly unuseable in full auto, I would rather make it a 25 round semiauto in BRIV
700-800 is the best rof for SF rifle
