Further balance

In this thread, I will say my opinion on the balance mechanism on the game after finishing all the grinding in both teams in the game

– I think that the snipers are pretty good in the game and the diversity that the game offers is really cool as the soviet sniper rifles ( Mosin and SVT ) are medium-range rifles it is a bit difficult to aim down an enemy from a long-range because of the minimum zoom in the rifles ( 3.5 ) zoom while the german rifles are pretty good in long-range but because of the scope sights it is a bit harder to aim in medium ranges because of muzzle velocity too

so, in conclusion, I think sniper class currently in the game is pretty balanced

– as for gunners I think german gunners are better due to having the mg13 which is very accurate and does slightly better damage and slightly better accuracy next to the Madsen but having to grind it and put up with the ZB 26 is what balance this class ( same for the soviets snipers )

–as for the assaulter class I feel that germans have the upper hand in and the Soviets can’t compete with them
I am aware of the 71 round magazine is better than 32 round but although you must !!! keep in mind that both guns ( PPD & MP 40 ) are the same calibre so they are supposed to have the same damage but I don’t feel that they do the same damage and the german gun is better and I noticed the mechanism of spray and pray technique of the PPD but I encountered a situation that made me sure that assaulter class needs to be rebalanced

in Vyoskovo village ( invasion ) I experienced defence in both teams and in the first defence point ( narrow trenches ) I cleared a whole squad with my MP 40 with a single mag ( they were attacking through the narrow trenches so it as easy to mow them down and I tried it with the PPD and I was killed after the third one I saw a lot of hit marks and it was 48 left in the mag after I was killed

so thought to be marked I think the MP is a very good gun at medium to long ranges due to better recoil and muzzle velocity where the PPD is supposed to dominate the close quarters and short ranges engagements due to its high rate of fire which gives bad recoil so it is hard to aim down sights with it on medium to long ranges

so, in conclusion, the PPD & MP needs further rebalance

That basically answers the SMG balance in the game.
On a side note, PPDs had way worse recoil before. It feels like a laser in comparison.

dont let more than 1 guy have line of sight on you at a time, problem solved.
Also German players are better on average so of course you get punished more for overexposing yourself to a full squad.

Maybe try trigger discipline?
The PPDs have less recoil per shot than the MPs.
They only have higher recoil because you just hold down the mouse button instead of burst firing.

No. Other than MP41, the SMGs are in a solid place rn. Soviets have the PPK for medium distance

It was literally the same situation and I was peeking around the corner only my head was apparent and I got shot that is not the idea to hide your self it is the stand that the PPD should have at least the same performance as the MP 40 in close quarters
Note that I killed the player the rest were AI they just managed to kill me because it took to many shots to kill few

i have used the semi aitomatic mode of the PPD ( by pressing the B button ) but the accuracy was little off and the MP 40 was better because of the less recoil while firing constantly although it dont have a single fire mode it really didnt matter it still did the job perfectly

No. You did not fight the same player. On top of that, you can never draw conclusions from this as a sample size of 2 is way to small. Especially if you consider the thousands of matches that have been played since CBT started.

It performs better, as its DPS is higher. Idk what you’re getting at. If you can’t land the shots, that’s a you issue.

good players instantly respawn into the next soldier so no they were not just AIs.

Then burst fire. This is literally a learn to play issue. The PPD has objectively better stats. More DPS. less recoil per shot. Bigger magazine.

it is not about the player.
becuase he respawns into soldiers that i am shooting so he was taking damage but managed to kill he was good i admit (he finished top on the score) but he killed me with an AI i was shooting and by shooting i mean i got hit marks but still managed to kill me if it was a MP 40 he wouldnt have a chance you understand now?

It’s 100% about the player. Even if you leave out skill, he could have had full 4-5 star soldiers, while the other guy had 1-2 star soldiers.

I can consistently top score if I put in the effort and single-handedly hold a point against any opponent, through cheeky tactics, fast reaction speed, game knowledge and good aim. And I am by far not the best player that plays Germany.

You can switch soldiers while you are alive, so he could just switch to one of the soldiers that is not getting shot. That’s what I do personally.

Reduced flinch perk exists, so whether you get shot at or not literally does not say anything.

Uh yes he would. One shot to your head and you are dead. If you hit him in the hand 5 times he survives. Hit markers, btw, are white when you do not hit a critical part of the body, but are red when you hit upper torso or head. You can deal up to ~70% less damage if you hit the wrong parts of the body.

You simply got outplayed. That does not mean the gun needs a buff.

well maybe your right I admit I got outplayed thanks for the tips and tricks although this is the battle score you can see I did my best still got beaten because maybe I got underperformed

No the bottom 3 “players” on your team were most likely bots, while they had full human team.
Overall their average K/D is much better than your team’s. (They aren’t noted as bots but generally “players” with <2 KDR are bots as the KDR means soldier kills per squad death. You only actually have a positive KDR if it is above 7 as that is the ammount of soldiers you have in your squad)

But that is always the case, Germany has a much larger playerbase and on average better players.

I really wish the game do something about the player base because it is really hard to grind in the soviets and even achieve victory especially in the invasion mode

it was a very easy victory I feel terrible for the enemy team

You cant force people to play the nation they do not want to play.

You can only play the less played side if you are willing to do so for the good of the game.
But personally, I can’t immerse myself into playing Soviets so I stick to basically all other nations except it.

The solution would be to share progression for Germany so they can fight both USA in Normandy and Soviets in Moscow with the same playerbase, but I think almost all German players will move to Normandy, leaving Moscow in the inverted situation, once Normandy releases.

I agree because everyone would think at least of semi-automatic experience (and the anti-tank luanchers that makes it easier to destroy tanks )

look at the the k/d rate i would kill 10 soliders before i die besides that is not the point i was attacking not defending of course i have to die

Then this wasn’t an easy victory. An easy victory is if the attacking team just steamrolls within 10min with none of the players dying more than maybe 5 times.

doesnt means it was easy, i see you were dying a lot, i see you couldnt win this in 15-20 minutes, so it was no where close to easy
