I just watch Mark Felton video and apparently the french have use pz4 1 panther and 1 tiger oh and if you are gonna say “well that wont fit in the game” dude we have the Dicker Max in the game and apparently there is only 2 Dicker Max in the world so shut it anyway it would be weird for the axis player to see the tiger on allie side fighting them

I not saying he is necessarily wrong about this, all sides made some use of captured kit, even vehicles during the war.
Probably just comes down how they want to alcoate weapons, the game is not particularly interested in realistic weapons effects anyway.
yea that why i thought having maybe a premium french tanker using tiger could be cool in enlisted since we have Dicker Max

I don’t think this is a good idea, if the french somehow converted their captured tanks in some way it might be acceptable. If factions are given more captured gear then the factions will feel less distinct, its better to just give all the factions their own stuff.

The Dicker Max is no excuse to give France, or even an Allied Special squad, captured content. Frankly I think that logic doesn’t even make sense.
Captured content should only be added if at the very least said faction did something to make said item their own. Otherwise we might as well see Allies running around with Stgs and Mg42s and Axis running around with Garands. If you want your enemy’s weapon pick it up during the battle.
For example, if Germany captured say some vehicle and mounted a German gun to it or something. Or even if they took a captured gun and rechambered it like the MP717. Then it’s unique
Theoretically they could make vehicles captureable because on some occasions I have seen the enemy abandon their vehicles. Perhaps you have a limited time to capture an abandoned vehicle before it despawns.

I know they used Panther for Postwar before they develop their own new tank doctrine(AMX serie)
The thing with Dicker Max and Sturter Emil are both sent to the front line of Eastern front though, so the Elefant/Porsche, Tiger I Porsche, and lots of wacky design… capture tank seems to be a taboo in this game

The MP717(r) is basically a PPSh but with a German name and a different skin.
What you meant it the MP41(r) which they chambered to 9mm and changed the magazine.
Well. If you are picky, you could argue that the Soviets shouldnt get land-leased stuff, the Breda and the Panzerfaust (nor any stuff they got from past wars and from the Russian Empire) nor should the Germans have access to guns they didnt produce on their own but were made from other (Axis) nations nor the MP-717(r).
But that would make certain campaigns even more ass-boring to play and grind and Berlin Allies probbaly not much better to play.
Yeah. A game where you grind the same stuff for around five times and most campaigns are constant one-sided Blitzkrieg meme matches needs to be unique somehow I guess.

I would have preferred keeping factions unique and not having captured gear or lend lease (even if that left them weak in a specific area). Lend lease drives me nuts atm where the main faction doesnt have some of them but others have lend lease versions.
Modified Versions of Captured gear is probably not so bad, but can do without.
But its not too bad…just as long as they dont run rampant with it.

every side used captured tanks, germans used captured british tanks, soivet tanks, American tanks,
the soivets used as many lendlease tanks that they could get, and any german tanks they captured during 1941-1943
americans and british used captured german tanks (mainly for shits and gigs) and then give them to the french)
however the french after they were "liberated"in 1944 were hugely supplied by the Americans however they did not give them much and thus they resorted to using anythink that they could get their hands on
but on to why it would be a shit idea
- adding every tank to every side would lead to a rather shit game, leave the captured tanks out of it
- french contribution was/is minminal in 1942-1945 and most of the time from 1944-1945 they were relagated to nonlinear dutys
- a french 1940 would be a much more better add and at this point there was no panthers and tigers
side note the dicker max is fine as it is a premium

tbh i’ve been kind of confused by the very idea of them adding france at all. I just don’t see how they could flesh them out into a full tech tree the same way you could potentially do with the british. They have a FEW guns and some post ww1 tanks they could potentially use and i could even see them as a sort of “Merged” faction with the US in the same way as the british, so in battles you could see a few guys wearing french uniforms and half of their guns are french equivalents, but they just didn’t have enough stuff which was unique to them alone to fill out an entire tree without having to depend on captured or lend lease options.
Theoretically, you could give them alot of the equipment of other nations. Numerous countries existed during this time frame which HAD all manner of firearms, tanks and so on which were nonetheless not actually a part of the war, i’d love to eventually have some spanish squads for my german army for example but i don’t see how you’d fill an entire french only tech tree.
look guy it was just a suggestion ok? maybe they might do it or not it up to them but overall it a interesting that i learn yesterday so i just want to share that knowledge that all
edit: oh and just for the record warthunder do have capture vehicle in it too i remember seeing Churchill as a premium in the tech tree but that a long time ago still like i said it all just a suggestion and something i found interesting also i swear i suggest it as premium not campaign progress if they were going to add it so yea you gotta pay for it not earn it
i mean i found out french have smg and machine gun altho they are really bad imo if they are gonna add it i guess it would be low tier since they cant compete with german gun at all imo

Maybe it should be some kind of “captured weapon order” or a few in the gold order category. Like a PPSh gold order for germans or MP43/1 for soviets/USA. But only one. If you like some gun go play the other faction.
With vehicles i see it more weird. I don’t like the idea of it.
