When the french was first looking for rifles to used their new, 7.5 caliber they first produced conversions the successful conversion by the French, was to convert the Berthier 1907/15 rifles to carbines for the Berthier conversion with a more simplistic sight.

Type of squad
Rifleman squad with a Engineer and a AT gunner and 7 other rifleman for a total of 9 soldiers.

After the fall of France the French exile government turned to the allies during the war, the troops royal to the exile government sided with them with also many divisions being renamed, this division fought at Tunisia, Lebanon and notably Bir Hakeim.

Their uniforms would be this due to they were still french soldiers.

I like it, cool gun and neat uniforms.

I do think the ROF could be a tad higher though, the MAS-36 uses the same cartridge yet is bulkier and has of 66 RPM. That would compensate for the damage being a bit on the low end due to it being a carbine.

Not a fan of rifles and we already have a french rifle with the war criminals premium.

Yeah but the issue is that these conversions are coming from the Berthier which in game the rof is 62rpm but I think 68 would be better due to the bolt design
