I used the M2 hyde squad yesterday for the first time and it’s just as bad (good?) As the MP41. A stupid laser beam 200 yards away.

1- Go prone far from the action.
2- Press H to switch to semi auto.
3- Watch as you down soldiers in 3 hits from 200m with absolutely no recoil.
Or you can rush in and mow down players with 2 hits each.
Would’ve liked to see the Vitality perk removed but at least they’re nerfing the Premium squads.
$41 aud for a squad of 4 soldiers that can no longer be used to train others or have more men added to it.
Yup ridiculous cost ! Thought $30 was steep then realized that’s 30 usd. Doing a good job of making War Thunder tanks n planes look cheap.

From what I’ve experienced thats not true I have other regular squads with all the XP perks unlocked and they get the same XP as my premium squads get for the same performance in game
They are supposed to give that bonus, as far as I am aware. If not, we can suggest to add this.
I bought the Hyde pack about 10 days ago. First premium squad I bought for the game. My XP skyrocketed per match when I would use them. The bonus is definitely active.

Well, to get this back on the rails:
I hope the OP explains enough for the people who have worries. I provided the link for customer support if people are not satisfied with these changes and want to attempt a refund.
Please keep further discussion as relevant/civil as possible. Of course, nobody knows how these squads will perform in OBT with everyone getting their accounts wiped and the massive balance changes coming with the OBT patch as well.
What’s this?? Are some folk complaining about not getting what they thought they bought…

The first time I read the changes I said out loud “That’s it?!”.
This change is really underwhelming and doesn’t tackle the problem whatsoever… I for one won’t use my premium squads in OBT. I want the same experience as everyone else without ruining it for others.

The reduction in perk capacity should keep the vitality related perks from being too powerful, as they won’t be able to heal up as easily, nor be able to ignore flinch if they get that extra health.
It is interesting to see that for some people this wasn’t enough of a nerf, though. What do you think is the biggest remaining issue?

They still run around with beefed up guns and equipment… This really isn’t okay. It’s disappointing and saddening.
If I would have to suggest a fix to the problem:
Give the premium squad the chance to unlock a unique weapon to them. That unique weapon may just be a variant of an existing weapon which behaves almost the same but looks nicer.
Similar for uniforms. A nice looking uniform which shows you’re premium and gives earning bonuses.
I would really want to work for those squads and not stomp people first day with top of the line gear, even if the squad is smaller.
