Foldable sights on weapons

As foldable sights on weapons were an option for the soldier using it, my suggestion would be to add a mechanic like the way you select the rate of fire or equip a gernade launcher, to be able to flip sights up and down. Players have preference about rear sights vs barrel sights and depends on range as well. Some examples are the event Lewis .303 and the M1941 Johnson LMG. All factions have examples as they are foldable for a reason.

Someone let me know if they are ever changed because I won’t even use them at the practice range with the shit sights, especially the Lewis. However, I’m not holding my breath.

  1. the stinger doesnt need buffs
  2. the real stinger does not have a foldable sight as that one would be entirely pointless for an wing mounted gun that isnt even aimed useing a sight. The enlisted stinger having one is just a result of devs beeing lazy and copy pasting existing assets.

But it is present on LOD models.
