Since the Order that required 60 kills i’ve finally managed to reach it after like 10 games or so. its still in need of a buff imo.
The range of the Flamethrower is too small
The squad in itself is too risky to run compared to other squads, and is very situational
I was lighting someone on Fire for 3 seconds before he actually dies. and if someone was on Fire, he can still shoot at you and kill you, after he killed me, he just put the fire off like nothing has happened.
The range of flame thrower atm is too low., and the damage should be increased slightly
Also in regards to Friendly Fire, is it possible to turn it off? there’s quite a few trolls who light teammates on fire, sometimes its accidental by teammates who light it on entrance but it’s still very annoying to deal with
When someone is on fire they shouldn’t be able to shoot, the fact that it requires them on Fire for 2 seconds is too long, giving enough time for users to kill you very quickly.
In every situation where i uses the Flamethrower, a M2 carbine is better

You dont use the flamethrower as a murder weapon. Its meant to clear buildings and keep them clear. You can use the flamethrower as a areal denial tool and its extremely effective at that.

let’s just avoid the flamethrower in RO that would clip through walls and killed everyone regardless of how much cover they had.

Rising Storm on Flamethrowers is an instant kill. I’m not asking for instant kill but please buff the range, there’s too many times where I believe the fire would reach them but it’s not, and i get a bullet to the head and its RIP. Not to mention you only have like 2 flamers in one squad
The risk reward ratio is just too awful for it.

You are unable to clear the buildings with it is what i’m saying, its too weak and awful right now. By the time you click, the fire comes out, but the bullet that hits you first is prioritized in this game. Meaning even though on your screen it looks like the Fire reaches them first, you ends up getting killed first

Clearing a whole room with M2 Carbine is much more effective or if I was using a Thompson, its much better, not to mention you can deal with low to mid range. You can’t deal with Mid or Long range as flamethrower, only short range.

Sorry I just can not agree with you at all here. You just need to practice apparently. I can on my own cap a enclosed point without a enemy getting any counterplay.

This is a realistic flamethrower, if the game is going to realism

idk but Enlisted is probably the only game where I feel the flamethrower is at it’s weakest compared to all other games, all other games did a pretty good job with it, here it’s quite underwhelming, and you can’t even upgrade it

Important question, do you have the flamethrower 2?
I don’t use the 1st type of Flamethrover cause Im not a kinda flamer guy, but check the result of the 2nd type the stronger one:

1 match in D-Day. Succesful victory at the last capture point (Axis side - Defense), and 50 kill with Flammenwerfer 41. I think its awsome.

I don’t i only have the M1. I’m only Level 25 atm, but you shouldn’t need to reach level 27+ to have an effective flamethrower, thats kinda dumb in my opinion.

if it does get buff in the second stage great, but I still think its quite unfair for newer players who hasn’t reach that stage yet, as the default one is quite bad

I think that is perfectly fine. Progression gives better weapons.
Flamethrower 2 is what you want, its great.

Alright ill check it out once i reach there, i kinda want to play on Berlin on USSR right now, since I dont want to reach max too soon and get no exp for playing. lv28 is only 1 away from max before you stopped gaining exp
Adding one more flamerthrower soldier to the squad would be a useful buff, or slightly increasing the range, so you don’t have to expose yourself to enemy fire as much, while trying to shoot into upper floor windows or bunkers.

every time I see a flamethrower he jumps into a building. shoots his load, catches himself on fire and dies.
Do i need to explain why that doesn’t make sense
Still don’t think you should be able to operate your weapon while on fire you should at least half to put yourself out first.
The flamethrower has gotten 2 range buffs so far. I think it’s good.
