Many production tanks had a variant where the main gun was replaced with a flamethrower and I think it would be cool for this to be an event vehicle or a modification on current tanks (Sherman for example)
I think it would be cool because historically they didn’t have that much ammo, but they were effective against infantry. I dont want enlisted to be filled with flame tanks so I think that we need to have an event to have it, and after than when we see how it is, add it so the campaign.
I mean, you also have examples where you maintained an operable gun, with a flamethrower tacked on in some capacity, such as the M4 “Crocodile”, which had flamethrower gear replace the hull MG and ran alongside the top of the hull, or the Flammwagen auf Panzerkampfwagen B-2 (f), which had the flamethrower replace the sponson-mounted 75mm.
Personally, I’d love to see those two in particular as premiums or golden ticket vehicles in Normandy ( Suggestion for Normandy Campaign restructure and rebalance ) , but flame tanks in general would just be nice to see in some capacity or either.
