Introduction: To fill the gap between suggestions “I want a new microtransaction with random shit that was never used in battle” and “I want a new campaign with microtransactions”
Opinion about new campaings
(I’m not against adding new campaigns, I’m against adding new campaigns BEFORE solving player separation problem or adding smart AI to play against)
I’d like to translate my collections of suggestions from the Russian section.
Most of them don’t add anything new, but improve the game by changing some aspects of it. And my English is far from perfect, so if you find any mistakes, please, let me know.
This collection of suggestions is about firearms, and I decided to split it into two parts: “Mounting” and “Dispersion”.
- Decrease mounted weapon angle restriction, by that I mean:
- Horizontal angles for the standing/crouching mount are increased to +/-80 and soldier slightly moves around the gun.
- Vertical angles for the standing/crouching mount are increased to +/-45 and soldier sligtly bends forward/backward to tilt the gun.
- Vertical angles for the proning mount should be +30/-20.
- Moving the camera to the edge of the vertical angle restriction zone at the proning mount automatically forces a soldier to reposition his gun in this direction. (A simpler solution: a soldier just rotates, but that would look unrealistic)
- Mounting on ground is automatic, (or show me, how you can hold 3-4 kg proning without touching the ground with your elbows) slightly less recoil, no weapon wobbling.
- Allow player to prone mount on a +/-10 slope.
- Instead, on the ground (only) with the “mount” button you can use bipods on weapons that have them (This will reduce recoil more than hand mount but has horizontal angle restriction like now (+/-10))
- While crouching, if player press “mount” button, soldier places its hand on the knee. (This slightly reduces recoil and firearm wobbling but you can’t move in that state)
That’s all, thanks for your attention.
