We were clearly talking about germany and u.s…since you’re so smart though, maybe you can tell me. Does germany have a bigger gun than it? Does u.s. have a bigger gun than it?

Aren’t you too young to have dementia?
I have dementia, but that’s because I was dropped head first into the floor in a Target when I was little
Honesty is a great virtue, at least. ![]()
Is this not an accurate statement? “It’s the biggest gun in the game between u.s. and germany”
And the sturm is the strongest gun in game due it’s shells. Way stronger than the kv2 even thought its “2mm” smaller in diameter. You’re so disingenuous sometimes. Kv2 can’t punch through tigers while sturm can one hit super pershing and is2 from the front. That makes the sturm the most powerful gun in game. There’s absolutely no refuting that
That makes the sturm the most powerful gun in game
However this is cancelled out by almost every other thing about it.

Not really. It can be one tapped in br2 and it can be 1 tapped in br3. There’s no difference there. But because of the damage it can output, it rightfully deserves a higher br. The king tiger can one tap everything of allies. Should all their tanks be br2 because of this? The main attribute to a tank’s br placement is the gun and what it can do. Sturm was the most busted thing I’ve seen in br2, one tapping with ease all br3 tanks, and getting 20+ kills with one round is not uncommon.

It can be one tapped in BR 1.
it rightfully deserves a higher br
No it doesn’t.

The king Tiger has Armor. Honestly comparing the King Tiger to the sIG has to be one of the most braindead things that you can do as they have just about 0 similarities.

Every AT rifle in the game can kill it even at far distances. The T-60 can kill it. Everything can kill it. It’s not hard and don’t even try to act like it is. It’s a BR II tank because let’s get this straight there are many attributes that you have to consider for a vehicle to find its BR, and in the sIG it’s cons out weigh it’s pro.

I’ll put it in extremely simple terms for you. If it has worst armor in game but has best gun in game one hitting everything, then that balances it out right smack in the middle of brs. This is called math, and a pretty simple equation at that.( Br3 is also the middle)
There’s more factors than Armor and Gun caliber to take into consideration.
If it has worst armor in game but has best gun in game one hitting everything
best cannon is 90mm M3 cannon of the M26 Pershing
- strong HE
- enough pen deal with any tank
- high velocity
- fastest reload in its class
care to explain to me how is a low velocity howitzer cannon with longer reload better?
At best you can compare the 15cm SIG to KV-2´s cannon, but it has none of the armour, doesnt that put it in BR2?

Simply because you still have to aim with 90mm on heavier tanks and the HE is not that good. Figured I’d play with the m36 for a bit just the other day to see how it faired. HE was horrible, only killing a few guys in clustered groups.
The sturm does not have to aim with it’s heat rounds, which are actually really strong. Just looked up the stats for a different argument. Actually it might of been you who tried to say all heat is relatively the same and diameter doesn’t matter. Which is far from true here. Back to the point, do not have to aim at all, and gets HE which obliterates anything for meters on end. Reload doesn’t matter much here because it’s not a front line vehicle, is low and can hide much easier while reloading, which isn’t even all that long.
Might i remind again, shells also impact how good a tank/gun is

The HEAT is very inconsistent. The HE is the much better round in general.

You still have to aim. When I brought it up to BR V, I was only able to kiss an IS-2 by hitting its Cupola.
HE was horrible, only killing a few guys in clustered groups.
That’s why you also have a MG. Also the M36 and Super Pershing use Different guns, and HE is also super inconsistent.
Simply because you still have to aim with 90mm on heavier tanks
holy skill issue.
HE is not that good
its god tier, check the stats. Most effective HE slinger on BR5.
responding to the rest bit by bit is a waste of time. You are clearly not taking major in game effects into consideration such as different surfaces affecting HE, cover affecting the range ect.
shells also impact
thanks captain obvious. we all knew that already.

The M36 GMC has 1.2 kg of TNT filler in its HE shell… that’s very good.
The HEAT is very inconsistent. The HE is the much better round in general.
I one hit all heavy tanks frontally in test range first try and people keep trying to say it’s harder to to do that there than in game because of no crew. I have also one hit every tank in game with it to date as well.
I am genuinely curious, from your point of view please break down the importance of tank features with a % value. Try to be objective here. To clarify you have a total of 100% break it up amongst tank traits by importance with 6 categories being:
- armor
- gun
- shell types/how good they are
- turret
- machine gun
- speed/maneuverability
(Percentages should not add up to over 100%)
- gun caliber
- shells
- reload speed
- crew size
- armor
- ammo placement
- speed
- whether it has a turret or not
- amount of MGs
- what type of MGs it has
- Neutral steering
- acceleration speed
- crew viewing ability’s
- whether the crew is exposed or not
- turret rotation speed
- size of the vehicle
- space between the crew members
- space between parts of the vehicle
- overall design of the vehicle
That as of now is all that comes to mind. @Valkay am I missing anything?
taking major in game effects into consideration such as different surfaces affecting HE, cover affecting the range ect.
I was shooting at open ground no cover/obstacles and was repeatedly killing only 2 or 3 guys in a group of 5-7. 75s seem to be way more consistent at killing groups than what i just experienced. Either way, I’ll rephrase the statement to be strongest gun in game from best, which is what i was inferring to begin with. You really need to stop arguing over Symantecs all the time. I might also add, the sturm doesn’t even fight br5 tanks, so even though it’s stronger than them it doesn’t matter if it’s “better” or not. The whole argument was worse armor, strongest gun = average rating. That’s quite literally as objective as you can get with it, even though i think what a tank can do is far more valuable than it’s “survivability”. That’s more of a “skill issue” than anything. It doesn’t matter if you get one hit by everything if you can one hit everything first. If you’re survivability is bad AND you can’t do anything back because the gun is also bad that’s a different story.
