Feedback for update 0.1.13.25

The Winchester 1895 in Russian service was actually highly-customized and special-ordered for the Tsar’s army, so it’s more in line with the dragoon being a high-quality prewar service rifle.

The problem was, the fact that Soviets had weapon shortage problems is false. Soviets actually had the most weapons and armed every second trooper with PPSh

Even if they had a lot of winchesters, dragoons and 1907’s by the time of ww2 they didn’t use these rifles and used mostly M91/30 and M1938.

Only some companies had weapon shortages such as the premium one that uses the PPK

I would like for devs to introduce partisan prem squads. These squads were not regular military, they were rebels and used older rifles.

The weapon shortage was mostly a German problem in Stalingrad, that’s why a lot of German soldiers used captured Soviet weapons.

The only real evidence of weapon shortages by Russians was during ww1 when Tzar pushed soldiers to fight with knifes and muskets

I just downloaded and played Battlefield V - lol what a piece of junk, just trash, I can’t even play it. It’s BF 4 with ww2 skins. I got it free, and I will never play it again lol

I also played Heroes and Generals a ton, I have fully leveled German side there, with a General, etc. Complete junk as well, compared to this game.

And I just played an awesome Manor battle in this game lol Now that was fun lol And fresh, and mean. And another Monastery invasion. This game feels fun to play.

And competition sucks, nothing else to play really, in WW2 fps.

But regarding patch - Madsen has technically been nerfed, it has become barely useful. Rate of fire is bad, even on upgrades. Accuracy dropped, mag is blocking view etc.

…?

If it doesnt get fixed, Hell let loose and post scriptum will beat this game

That map is good ngl

Actually, it is better now
RoF is the same as before, just this time it has a matching sound (just like PPD, it sounds like it fires 3 times faster than it actually does)
Madsen is more controllable now because of the more stable recoil

Agree

In my opinion you are right. This is a chance for Enlisted because people want a good World War 2 game. Without colored skins or mechanical hands. Now it’s in the hands of the developers

BF1 and BFV are Battlefront (2015) reskins. Don’t you ever sully the BF3 expansion that is 4 like that again, friend.

Also a good chance for Enlisted because it’s f2p.
Unlike PS and HLL, it doesn’t need to win side-by-side comparisons. Players can just try it for themselves before worrying about dropping money on it.

Hell let loose sucks, boring boring. Slow slow, running somewhere for 10 min, get shot, repeat. It’s boring to even watch it on youtube lol “realism” thing doesn’t work in video games.

Just like how the ZB-26 mag has been blocking the view for German players the entire time?

Well then they have to come up with a better progression system.

ugh, just watched JackFrags play Hell Let Loose, I snoozed after 10 minutes of empty running lol boy that’s fun lol I will never buy that game, unless it’s like 5 bucks.

There is also the ancient Day of Defeat Source - that was like closest to fun WW2 fps.
That’s it. Sorry ass state of WW2 games lol

Some game behave differently Hell Let Loose is more milsim less action (just like real life you’re not always in combat)

Of course not all game suit everyone (I not a fan of doing nothing too)

That has nothing to do with the progression system in Enlisted being terrible.

Even if Hell let Loose might be boring to some players,
It has two big advantages:
1. Balance
There is no p2w, bias and smg-meta in HLL. the game is very balanced

2. Playerbase
HLL playerbase is actually huge with the average number of several thousand players online.
Enlisted is nowhere close so most battles are filled with bots

Hell let loose is a complete diferent game with a complete diferent gameplay aproach, the “slow realism” of HLL has nothing to do with the gun and run mechanics of enlisted, enlisted is not under any means a hardcore realism game, and its fine how it is, its more casual giving a lot of freedom to how you want to play the game. Enlisted should keep its own identity and get away from “hardcore realism games” like HLL, Arma or Squad their pacing is just too slow the community takes the game way to seriously, too boring and repetitive, also the maps of enlisted are too small, they wont permit the slow pasive gameplay of HLL. In order to be a clone of HLL, Enlisted must have a complete overhaul of core game mechanics.
Regarding the player issue, enlisted is literally on a closed beta of course it doesnt have a lot of player, also the game is going to be f2p and in steam, pretty sure most war thunder players will try enlisted once it is out

I was talking about balance, not gameplay

I don’t know really where I can share my overall feedback of the whole game, so I will do it here. I bought the Closed Beta last sunday, and played since then 3 to 4 matches almost every day.

Graphics
Nothing to complain, this game looks good. Hate it or love it, the Battlefield franchise has great graphics, I think this game can be compared with Battlefield 1 and V.

Audio
Overall, good. Most weapons sounds good, the tank engines too. I like those revs if you move forward or reverse. The sound of the aircraft however, terrible and annoying sometimes. It has only one tone, and gets really, really loud. While I love the sound of WWII aircraft, the aircraft in games aren’t even close.

Just a suggestion, I saw gameplay of the Berlin map, please add realistic Katyusha rocket launcher, “Stalin’s organ”, sounds in the background. That really would add some amazing vibe.

Maps
I can’t remember any names of the maps, maybe because I find many of them almost the same. Some trenches, village at the center, etc. I can’t say yet ‘Damn, that map is awesome!’, I have them all on the same line, not bad, not amazing either.

I do like the map that is set in a small ‘city’ with that intersection. The vibe when you see many soldiers, supported by a tank, in battle at that intersection is awesome. Really felt like street-to-street, house-to-house fighting. I hope we get a larger city map in the further, without those surrounding smaller houses and forest area, just the city, big streets etc. Examples down here;
389223-main Bundesarchiv_Bild_183-L20582,_Charkow,_Strassenkämpfe

Most pictures were from battles in Kharkov, Ukraine, 1942-43.

Another thing other players want like me, bigger maps, without small vilages in the center etc. Just a big battlefield map, waste land, no man’s land, whatever you would call it.

Controlls / movement
Okay-ish / terrible. I don’t know where to start… so. While running, sometimes the character stops without any reason. Other times the character suddenly moves a bit in any direction moments after you already stopped walking. In buildings… every object like a table, box etc, the character moves on it, glitches through it. If you open a window you can easily fall out the building, lol. It’s just really cluncky, like you have no controll at all.

Stamina… these are professional soldiers? Why are they tired after 15 meters of running? It adds nothing. Aiming… not stable, really sensitive. Some would call it realistic, I find it annoying. It could be me, but aren’t the controlls the most important thing? FIRST steady controlls, than other things.

Also, is it possible to add Third-person view to vehicles? Or is it fps only to add realism? Fine by me, just asking.

WWII setting
Fantastic. No bull shit in any way, stupid uniforms, weird looking soldiers (kuch Battlefield V and COD WWII). This is what I’ve been looking for for years. I hope we will see in the future things like other camo uniforms. Not to glorify anything, but especially the Waffen-SS had good looking camos.

kursk

What is the position of the developers with regard to the Waffen-SS? Will we see them in the future? Is it even possible regarding to goverment rules? I know, and totally understand it is a senstive subject, but I’m just wondering. I don’t necessarily need these units in the game, but their camo would be a great addition.

Game presentation / menu design
Another thing I don’t ‘like’ is the presentation of the game. The menu design, the fonts used… it looks something like from the early 2010s. This needs a fresh, modern, and clean new look. Not too fancy in my opinion, just clean and modern.

Finally, I see a bright future. If this game fixes the problems it faces now, adds lots of new content, maps from other battles, gear, weapons etc, then in my opinion it is the perfect WWII shooter I’ve been looking for for years and years. And I would gladly pay for all this ofcourse, for the support.

Thank you.

Ju-87 had sirens but they don’t work anymore
I hope it’s just a bug

Or we can have actual playable katyushas

I agree of course

Judging from the pictures you sent, I see you’re a fan of german soldiery and I have good news for you
SS was present in Berlin and Normandy playtest
Now for Moscow, I don’t know if Germans used that camo in early war. Honestly, if I’m a German soldier I would look not to freeze to death instead of wearing fancy summer uniform
But I’m not an expert, maybe they used that camo in Moscow

I love your detailed feedback and would love to hear your thoughts on the current progression system.

Totally agree about Waffen-SS uniforms.

Also, if people are right about devs location which is Latvia, then we dont have as strict laws as for example if devs were in Russia or any European country except Baltics, because we had a common history with Waffen SS and we even have our Waffen SS soldier memorial day, but that is not as easy to explain as it might sound.

That’s correct, I’m most interested in the German forces. I hope the Berlin map returns sooner or later.

I’m not an expert either but I do know quite a bit about the war. There was no Waffen-SS present on the Moscow front in 1941, only Wehrmacht. They had no special camo, not even in the summer months before the advance to Moscow. The only camo they had were winter suits, white covers, like in the game, so that’s correct. But the Germans, probably mainly the Waffen-SS, used already camo in 1940, and ofcourse at the start of the invasion of Russia. See pics below.

In France 1940

Soviet Union 1941

The Wehrmacht at Moscow in 1941 had basically no camo at all, as far as I know. They improvised like this picture shows;
