Well it means connection and few other meanings but mainly connection. So in context the whole event in 1938 was connecting/merging of Austria to the third reich.

Austria voted to ask Germany to annex it, which absolutely none of their neighbors were happy with. Czechoslovakia especially.
Believe it or not, while the nazi party was pressuring the vote, it’s widely accepted that Austria was going to vote for the anschluss even without the pressure.
I don’t think any other countries joined the same way but I could be wrong. Czechoslovakia was invaded, as was Danzig (free city contested between Germany and Poland which sat between the recognized main German border and the German territory of Konigsberg) which started the war in Europe.

My thoughts about the last big update (Normandy) after some time of playing:
Things I like:
- Something new
- Beatiful maps
- Semi-auto rifles for Moscow, but I havent tried them yet because of incredible amout of xp needed.
Things I did not like in the new campaign:
- Broken AI - 1 tapping through everything and everyone across the map
- Boring weapons - no STG, no Thompson (havent tried them because this is my first time in Normandy), broken MP-34.
- Unballanced maps
- Unballanced tanks
- Unballanced plane rockets
- Too much fogg and smoke in the maps, which makes Bots OP, because you cant see them, but they can see you.
- Painful progression for Normandy and overall grindfest has not been removed, I cant test new things which are locked in the highest levels because of too much xp needed, thats not fun, at least for Beta while we must test everything, and I hope that before wipe (which is also a reason for me to not grind those high levels) we will get everything to try it out.
Got bored too fast and moved back to Moscow campaign to just have fun and forget about testing anything.

If you haven’t tried them I will give you a slight preview:
They now deal 12dmg (they dealt 8.5dmg before the buff) which is great but there are several bugs which limit the SVT. SVT sniper has bad FOV despite using the same scope as M91/30 and bullets are very inaccurate, I almost never hit exactly where I aim

I don’t like them too. They always kill me across the map but also they die very quickly because they have no situational awareness
They will be reintroduced, just like SVT and G41 were
Invasion maps are great but Conquest is garbage just like in Moscow
My idea is make more invasion maps and turn conquest into lone-fighters exclusive

Puma is very unbalanced but it’s mostly because devs have no idea that armoured cars should be slower on mud and grass

I like the fog and smoke but AI should be blinded by it just like players
I also have no idea why is fog present only in Normandy summer and not in Moscow winter where it should actually be
Devs are changing the progression system in the new update, I just hope they will fix things up
If you ask me, Moscow is even worse than Normandy with tiny maps and MP-41’s around every corner
I only play Moscow to get the t-28

The secondary guns are slaved to the main gun
The coax is modeled as the proper ball mount so you can fire above and below your max elevation and what not

shouldn’t it be stronger than puma considering it’s 75mm instead of 50mm (like Pz3N for example)

Honestly I just laser people with the MGs mostly, HE is good though. I was just trying to give something everyone already has to base it off.
I’m fine with either one tbh, but the KV is more appealing by virtue of being a slow dumb box like the Tiger 1
