Feedback for last update

Well, you aren´t wrong on this one. When I started playing soviets a while ago I expected everything to be a trash, but it is mostly a L2P issue. Sure, there are bugs with PPD etc., but soviet weaponry is as powerful as axis one with only lackluster being T60 that is suited against infantry, thus it struggles with tanks and needs to flank. The major difference is what each weapon shines at more (and lets be honest, in low range engagement, which is a considerable amount of engagements in Enlisted, I would always choose shotgun or PPD over any MP).
So if MP 41 receives more nerfs, PPK should not escape justice as well.

Of course there are also pistols that are however more or less useless on both sides.

Drastic majority few percents of the playerbase mkay…

With <100 active people on the forums, it is a much larger percent than you think. It’s not like the average ratio between people who would agree or disagree would be drastically different enough in the entire playerbase compared to the forum players to make a 95% agreeing rate into a <50% agreeing rate

P2W is not going away. Even if it is, it is not going away anytime soon. Best course of action at least for now is to make sure that the premium guns are balanced between each other. It’s ridiculous if even after paying, you get inferior equipment.

Then maybe the playerbase should be more active in getting it gone.

One could say that a katyusha truck in war thunder is inferior to other vehicles at its BR.
However, it is fun.
Paid items do not have to be OP to be fun. Only unique. PPK is a good example of that, being the only mid-range kind of SMG for Soviets (not taking its strength into account for this example).

And fun is what sells.

Is people buy it because it is op, they do so to have an easier time roflstomping other people and have more “fun” that way at the expense of others.

Players should have to earn roflstomping that by gaining experience and becomming better players than everyone else, not “earning” it because they whipped out their wallet.

We’ve been plenty active about it. If it was bound to happen, it would have happened already. Far bigger additions and changes from the forum has already made its way to the game.

Tell that to the devs. Not me.
Trust me, I want P2W gone just as the majority here. For now, devs have decided to keep it. Accept their decision and focus on something else. Hearing the same rant everytime someone brings up premium weapons is outright off-putting at this point.

They nerfed the M2 Hyde to not be OP less than an hour after release, meaning that it is possible for us to make a change if we keep on going.

People also have been massively complaining about mortars and MG nests being OP and they havent been nerfed either, showing that the not nerfing aspect is not limited to just premium weapons.

Does XP from conquest in Moscow feel slower for you guys too?
Invasion still nets like 10k from a high performing win, but conquest on a high performing win is like 2500 xp.
I’m also struggling hard as fuck to even level up my Flamethrower squad compared to how quickly squads like Engies and Snipers leveled up.

Edit: Yeah shit I used to level up my other squads every match or every other match. With the Flamethrower squad its maybe once every five matches. :sob:

Yes
It’s soooo slow

Have some more to add after playing more matches.

What you don’t like

  • Why are most maps again focused in small villages? We get again that close quarter combat, like Call of Duty. We definitely need maps with more open areas.

  • The Puma feels like it has no weight at all, it goes all sides with a little bit of gas lol.

  • Just my opinion ofcourse, but the colors in some settings feel a bit of. Cant remember the names of the maps but some are set in a nice small French village, it has no war vibe with these vibrant colors.

  • There aren’t barely any areas where you can sit and observe the area, all is very close build together. It aways end up in alley-to-alley combat…

  • MG 42 nest are glitchy as f*k.

Wars can be fought on sunny days.

Tell that to verdun, which lasted ages, with plenty of sunny days, while everything turned to mud and dust
grass doesnt stay green for very long when artillery starts firing.

Verdun was a slog, the western front moved very quickly and wouldn’t be as bad away from major fortifications.

Some maps do have burned out areas, and smouldering craters in wet areas that wouldn’t burn well anyway.

I know, but it kills the vibe for me. It looks like a holiday setting instead a warzone. For once, Battlefield V did it right with the colors in this summer setting;

Not the orange/yellow summer overkill colors.

A photo from the set of Band of Brothers. Also set in the summer (based on the battle of Carentan/Normandy 1944). These colors are way better then that yellow/orange vibe. Well, this one is maybe a bit too purple/blue-ish.

What? Market Garden?
No…
Market Garden was well after the Normandy Breakouts.

yep, my opsi.

I guess many people (including me and you) are used to see ww2 in greyish colors because of photos we see. What surrounds us affects us, whether we like it or not.
This is for example colorized picture from Yalta conference.

why is this rifle unlocked at lvl 14 if it uses a much worse scope than the one we have at the beginning of grind?

The rifle we get uses the 8.0x Unertl scope

And the unlockable one uses the inferior 6.0x scope (which was present in the playtest)

I think I know you what you mean, but it doesn’t matter. I don’t like bright, satured Fortnite colors in a serious WWII setting. I prefer cinematic, dramatic colors. Doesn’t mean it has to be fake, you could use realistic daylight but just don’t over expose the colors yellow, orange in summer days. Use for example a cloudy day, bit of washed out blue sky. Not every summer day has complete blue skies with a big sun.

What I like

  • Tons of new variety added to Enlisted, like the MAS-36 and the Lee-Enfield.

  • Gewher 41 and SVT-38 added back to Moscow campaign

  • Semi-automatic Rifles have finally been buffed

  • Normandy is finally here to stay.

  • Beautifully crafted maps (see What I don’t like).

  • New weather options but more of the Normandy maps should prioritize overcast/foggy weather to be historically accurate.

What I don’t like

  • STILL NO AUDIBLE FOOTSTEP SOUNDS

  • Progression after Level 11 and up take so fucking long, I can’t muster the dedication to spend 5-6 hours a day just to rank up each campaign level. It’s ridiculous.

  • So many of the Normandy maps happen to look gorgeous but I feel like they’re terribly designed for multiplayer. Devs really need to listen to the community for a maps feedback thread.

  • Semi-automatic Rifles are locked to a much higher level in the Moscow campaign

  • There’s still no Squad gamemode selection. I want to choose whether I’ll be playing Assault, Invasion, or Conquest.

  • AI are still god awful. They can kill me through dense foliage and parts of the map which no human player would be able to detect, and their aggro sensitivity needs a ton of work. My bots have almost intentionally gotten themselves killed by grenades by running into their blast radius.

  • Player visibility is very frustrating because of how the lighting is setup for Enlisted, this is a controversial suggestion but perhaps there should be an option to subtly boost player contrast like CS:GO added. I don’t see this happening, but I’m still gonna throw it out there.

  • MP-34 is horrible, I’d rather use a pistol with the lowest damage in the game. Buff its rate of fire, damage, or recoil.

  • FOV is still capped at 90° and should be unlocked up to 110-120°. I’ve been even more frustrated about the narrow field of view in the Normandy campaign because of the close quarters Conquest maps.

  • Tanks in the Normandy campaign feel wonky as hell and are unenjoyable to use in combat, although their speed is cool.

  • HE Shells are still garbage, practically no splash damage or anything.

  • Explosive Devices are still off/on when it comes to damaging vehicles. Throwing Grenades and Explosion Devices has been annoying ever since that line indicator was removed months ago, this mechanic should go back to the drawing board in my opinion.

  • Network experience feels weird even at low ping. Enlisted and CRSED should hop on the constant 60HZ servers train like some other games are doing to mitigate inconsistencies and improve the experience for when we’re stuck on European servers.

  • We’re still being placed into matches far outside of our selected server regions. I’m not ever playing in Eastern European or Asian servers with 150ms+ of latency, just fix this for Enlisted and CRSED already.

  • Premium Squads are (in my opinion) grossly overpriced. Each one of them are marketed for $29.99 but only feel like they’re worth $14.99-19.99.

  • DLSS 2.0 appears to be bugged because there is a ton of ghosting, not matter which setting you have it on. Try it at the main menu and watch the blinking animation on the soldiers, there’s a ghosting effect which is also seen on moving trees and bushes. I wanna use DLSS cause it looks far better than TAA, but this should be addressed.

What I don’t understand

  • I do not understand why there are French, Italian and British weapons right now (I’m glad they’re in, the Lee Enfield is fucking FUN to use). Just add British Infantry and Paratrooper squads since they took part in D-Day. Free French Forces squad would also be cool, especially seeing dudes running around wearing those nice coats and Adrian helmets.
