The MP 34(ö) is horribly slow. Even slower than the grease gun. Is that normal?
Only played the swamp once and the whole battle seemed like a joke with how both teams were approaching it. They were just bum-rushing eachother across the middle of the open while occasionally one of those amphibious cards blew across to run a few people over before the crew got shot out.
I was watching in disbelief at all of the stupidity from my tank, but ended up losing connection before I could go on foot myself.
That’s what I got from the one I picked up off of a dead guy.
irl it had a higher RoF from what I can gather, so it doesn’t seem right.
So that was you on that tower today.
But I’m afraid that you and @47094123 are talking about different maps- he meant the map with radar and small city. Church on that map is really hard to capture once someone gains control of it.
I agree that that map is SMG meatgrinder for most of the time but snipers can find their nieche too. Sniper with Good position in the forest can control A point (radar) and the road from C (coast) to B. So they are not entirely useless on that map.
oh yeah, looking at the thread with the missions screenshotted I think I’m thinking Ruins of Vaux.
tbh I can’t tell the difference between Ver-Sur-Mer and Le Bre unless I see the dish, and I’m rarely on that end of the map. The churches in those 2 are copy-paste of eachother.
the M-5 was, of course, a recce vehicle for the US army so is filling the same role as the Puma for the Germans.
but probably the closest “like for like” in terms of features would be the Staghound Mk III with the 6 pdr (57mm) gun - American made although the US didn’t use them, and didn’t come into service until 1945.
Alternatively the T18E2 Boarhound also with 57mm gun - which saw only very limited service with British forces in North Africa from 1942:
Both are in War Thunder so presumably the models are available.
An American armored car like those would be nice, if they were actually in American service in Normandy.
I find my M5 to be very workable, however.
Yeah - there’s the rub - neither of them were used by the USA at all. USA gets M3/M5 light tanks or M8 Greyhound as in service recce vehicles until the M24 came along at the end of 1944 - well after D-Day.
Doesn’t really seem that worth it. Pumas are a pain to kill with how fast they move, but armored cars are very fiddly to use. Pumas contribute to the general aesthetic though by having armored cars exist.
24h later and I still can’t access the game. The error message has changed a bit though : “Playstation Network accounts can only be used on Playstation Systems. For more information please contact our support team”. Is there a solution or I just have to wait days and weeks before the bug is eventually fixed (I play on PC and don’t have a PS5)?
Needs to be a bug report.
I’M NOT getting any more guns/parts or new soldiers since the Normandy update. I’ve played 2 days solid in Moscow and no logistics awarded at all.
Anyone noticing this issue for themselves?
Yes there’s another thread about it - something to do will rolling people back to level 18 so they can get the new gear I think - does that sound like your situation?
Yeah I was 19 before… thats probably it.
thanks for the reply
No it shouldn’t
Reason why?
I have layed out tons of reasons of why it should, you just say “no” without any reasoning, you also need your crutch like tokarev?
Anymore nerfs on the MP-41 will lead to it becoming way too similar to the MP-40. You have to know that this is a gun you pay for and it is supposed to work better than the free ones whether you like it or not.
Any more nerfs for the MP-41 shouldd be accompanied by nerfs for the PPK too. They both perform very similarly since the last update. Soviet mains don’t give their weapons the credit they should.
Which is perfectly fine, as IRL it was literally a MP-40 with a fire selector and a wooden stock. Nothing more, nothing less. If anything, it should be worse, due to being heavier.
This is simply a P2W excuse. There is no valid reason to make a paid gun better, unless you intend to make buying this shit REQUIRED in a supposed free to play game to be competitive, which in turn will just kill the free to play playerbase.
Sure, nerf the PPK too.
You still can not accept that not everyone has to agree to you, cant you?
Hmm 2 vs 30+
Sure not everyone agrees, but the drastic majority does
