Extremely rigged box

I’m not asking for units and vehicles to be given away, but the odds of winning are extremely rigged.

The prize list says they have a 1% chance, but I’m 100% sure that’s just a visual trick and the probability is even lower.

Otherwise there’s no point in spending 150k and not even getting near a damn weapon.

And the damn new gross effect makes me even more angry.

DF is at a point where they’re becoming more and more disgusting. Don’t hold these shitty events, if u are a rat.

Even Counter Strike is more likely to give you a golden weapon than this game giving you a lousy weapon, let alone a unit.

As I said, I don’t expect them to give anything away (even less knowing that the people behind DF are greedy), but this is worse than a casino…

What makes it even more disgusting is the fact that they increasingly rig the silver coin earnings, even as a premium player I earn less coins, even if I set my own game record.

They are disgusting.

The odds are 1% per roll.

They don’t stack.

It’s even worse, we’re talking about free content for free currency, they’re not betting the company.

As I said and I’ll say again, I don’t expect to be given anything, but the odds are ridiculous… It’s basically sticking an 8-leaf clover up your ass to get something that isn’t a card of whatever.

They should stack, because if you’re spending 500,000 silver, you should have the chance to get at least 1 squad or weapon. What’s the point of buying 100 boxes if it’s still only 1% chance for the whole lot.

I guess I’m lucky to be broke, since I can’t afford the boxes anyway.

The odds are no different with any other F2P game.

I play World of Warships a lot and the loot boxes are incredibly one-sided. Why should it be any different with this F2P game?

It doesn’t make sense. With a 1% chance, you’d have one chance every 500k. As it is now, you could spend 10kk and get nothing.

The devs need to make money somehow. Like all live-service games.

They give you the odds, it’s all on you whether you want to gamble on them or not.

I play a lot of MMOs and other free games, and no, the odds are not even, especially for free content.

Exactly my point.

If the boxes were for real payment, I wouldn’t even bother complaining… But what money are they going to make from content that was and is free and that is paid for with fictitious money that is just as free?

That’s what I’m on about… It’s 1% per roll.

It doesn’t matter how much you lay down, each roll is 1%.

The only thing I can think of is that they’re hoping someone will pay for 1 million silver coins with real money, which is honestly ridiculous considering how disgustingly expensive 100k packs are.

Especially with the ridiculous odds.

As someone who suffers the Moderator’s Curse, I could spend a million silver and still end up with a thousand name changes or some shit.

Gambling is always rigged. The only way to win is not to play.

So my question is, if I do 100 individual rolls instead of 100 in a group, would I have a higher chance of getting a squad?

Nope. Each roll is 1%. And it doesn’t stack.

So you always have a 1% chance of winning something useful, like a squad or a decent weapon. No matter how much you spend.

Yes, that’s true… but we’re talking about free content paid for with the same currency as the game for free rewards… There are no rewards like premium units in the box…

That’s what doesn’t make sense, being so stingy with something free…

A better solution is to allow players to unlock old events for say 250 gold…players have to grind to get the rewards, Gaijin makes money. This keeps both sides happy. The Silver boxes should…

  • up the silver rewards from 1000
  • decrease the chance to get boosters
  • get rid of the cheesy holiday decals and whatnot…or at least cap them all at 1…I have 7 stupid reindeer
  • Cap all weapons at 4 like the old GO
  • when you win a pistol, knife, sword or whatever you should recieve all 4 at once…they aren’t worth the same as good weapons
  • does anyone really want portraits or callsign ID orders?
  • NO ONE wants the mid tier soldiers

It isn’t stingy, it’s gambling.

F2P live service gambling doesn’t work like that.

If they really wanted to make money, they’d release gold boxes that are paid for with gold coins and premium units would be played… But we’re talking about free content squared…

If it were done the way you say, I wouldn’t complain, I’d acknowledge that gold is gold and silver is silver… But the current boxes are extremely ridiculous and a ridiculous example of greed.

Are the developers starving? Because I can’t explain their actions otherwise.
