Experimental reactive launcher for Japs

So, recently I found interesting doc about use reactive launchers by Japanese side.

Its stationary gun, which allow to lunch a 200-mm roket (close to a soviet Katusha BM-13 something)

This is a report of Far east front:

A mortar for a rocket launcher.

The Japanese are currently conducting experiments to launch a rocket. This mortar is a regular mortar that does not have a bottom part. Instead of the bottom part, there is a limiter that holds the rocket projectile in the lower part of the mortar. The length of the mortar is 2470 mm, the weight is 250 kg. The mortar has a lifting mechanism that allows you to give the mortar an elevation angle from 18 degrees to 05 (perhaps poorly written). A sight from a 150 mm type 96 mortar is used to aim the mortar. The mortar is fired from 900 to 1600 meters. The mortar is transported on three packhorses.

Maybe description for some another gear, I will look closely. But this launcher contains 60 kg air bomb to through for sure.

It will be more interesting then a heavy mg. Some mortar Japs squad could build such a thing, don’t you think

We have some reactive launcher for 1.5 km but it keep firing at 20 meters) bm track.

It’s an 8 inch rocket with the power of a cruiser gun, rate of fire would have to be like 2 per minute at best, and it have to be built by engineers, you could only control range and not aim it right or left. It be very limited weapon.

Why not. Since we have a squad like the SVT-40 (AG), the others could get something unique as well.

Might have overreacted I hate rockets
If it’s anything like the type 4 20cm
It should have 18kg or 36lb of explosive fill
Or about the same as a 100mm shell
On the other if it works more like bomb it have a blast radius like a 100 kg ish bomb

So rate of fire and shell load is crucial to determine br

Maybe as like a unique japanese radio squad call-in

a call in is a much better idea like 4 rockets every 3-minute minimum sound balanced
