In this post, I propose adding these self-propelled guns as an event!
USSR: SU-122 (BR 4)
One of the first Soviet self-propelled guns, it had a T-34 hull with 45mm armor and a very powerful 122mm cannon.
Germany: Jagdpanzer 38(t) “Hetzer” (BR 4)
German SPG based on the Czech light tank, frontal armor 60mm with a 75mm gun, due to its small size is almost invisible.
USA: M18 “SuperHellcat” (BR 5)
Modification of the M18 with a 90mm gun, this technique is not designed for frontal assaults but for flank attacks and quick retreat, due to the lack of armor has mobility 80 km / h.
Italy: 90/53 M41M (BR 3)
Italian powerful SPG with a 90mm gun but with weak 30mm armor.
Britain: Archer (BR 2)
Quite strange SPG of Britain, where the gun is directed to the back side, which will have to turn all the venicle to shoot at enemies, the gun is 76mm and the armor is 20mm.
Hetzer is BR3, it has a weak point on the lower front plate, it has been in the game files for years, it is the tank that I most want to see in the game
Or better yet, both. However, I don’t think that these vehicles can’t be hidden in the event, because Japan already has too few “real” weapons and equipment. And the developers have already hidden enough in the donation and BP. What are the Chi Ha and the 10-round tip hey worth (which were more common than the 5-round one) This should be in the TT. (Well, at least Ho-Ni 2. Japan can have at least one example of a “real” high-BR vehicle.)
As have I, still doesnt make them ideal, and certainly grey zone camping isnt justification for it.
The maps arent big enough for flanking in an unarmoured exposed tank.
Atm the M18 sits in the game unused because it has the same gun as the other sherman 76’s but has no armour to stop even small arms fire. All you will do putting it at BR5 is put another unarmoured exposed tank with a gun that is already found at that BR in heavy tanks. Like no one will ever take the superhellcat over the super pershing.
