Coenders Rifle
During the fall of Germany, the military have trailed several rifles for the Volkssturm army for a simple rifle to arm them with.
Coenders rifle was trailed where it uses a reversed bolt mechanism unlike a traditional rifle, still shot held uses the same clips as the K98 and ammo type, while drastically simplifying the gun the rifle was ultimately rejected for being to simple.
When you push the bolt forward the entire barrel moves forward, and it has a spring to move the bolt/barrel back too.

I voted yes, would be a neat addition, however, you didn’t offer an option for yes, but not being able to keep the weapon aimed or a yes option with the aiming mechanic but on br2. I don’t believe there are any br1 bolties with this game mechanic, and i believe this mechanic is specific for br2. I don’t really like rules being bent because it affects the other 3 nations balance and people these days want 1 for 1

Then gun gonna be a event squad also the main benefit of the sight in was for guns that have a high rof

This gun would have the lowest rof with the future
Examples for my point
Ross rifle 69 rpm
Smle mk III 63 rpm
Enfield mk4 69 rpm 25.4 (all the first three rifles do the same dmg)
Winchester 76 rpm 27.9
Mannlincher 76 rpm 25.3
This is not including BP or event items all of the rifles mentioned are higher rof rifles doing avg dmg for the rifle caliber with this of it having 58 rpm (maybe even 60) and the same dmg as a normal K98 would make it somewhere in br1 ball park this doesn’t include the sight picture
If they gave this feature say the P14 I still think it be br1 still bc it’s objectively the worse br1 rifle in US tree why use that when you could use the M1903a1

I would have zero issue with it staying br1 with the aiming mechanic if it was assured the other nations would also get it at some point soon after. Even if it were on a premmy br1 boltie squad. As long as it’s there and it doesn’t look like 1 nation is getting special treatment I’m fine with it.

Unless we can find evidence of the P14 and M1917 was commonly used with the mad minute style of shooting I sadly doubt it
