So, of course I bought the battlepass…
I am not happy about it, so you have my leave to call me a sucker for it, I have earned it.

I might start thinking a little more favourably if they brought the literal cold-war weapon out of BR I…
Then at least there’d be five new cool guns to play around with the rest of the late-war British gear.
Actually, Patchett had been working on the design since at least 1942, he pattented the weapon in 1943, and then field trials began in 1944 following official specifications for a new SMG to replace the Sten Mk II… The man had been working on the design since before official interest, persumably thinking ahead quite a bit (the Sten was obviously not a long-term solution).
Yes, I’ve spent quite enough time on the topic already…
Anyway, I just want it in BR III, so it isn’t another shitty BR I alternative… I want to use it with my other late-war gear and vehicles, and not get punished for it. BR I has quite enought Commonwealth SMG options already.
The difference between the Patchett and later Sterling can be summerized to “they use different magazines”. I want gear that made it into modern times to not be useless in high-BR play…

That’s a bit nonsensical - it doesn’t get better for being BR3 - you can use it in BR5 games already - there isn’t any such “punishment”
I had enough gold saved up to be able to buy the guns without having to play a significant amount of the event. Of course, now I have ZERO gold in storage, so maybe I will actually have to play the entire next event. 
But yeah, I had to buy the battle pass as well. 
It would be, if I wasn’t of course asking for a change to the stats at the same time.

What suggestion? - there’s no suggestion linked in your post so it reads as nothing more than a BR change with no change in stats.
