Since construction hammers were given out as Event rewards, and you are still able to get them in Silver chests, there should be a significant upgrade to using one…like 50% sprint speed boost when using swords. I suggest giving them a 50% build speed bonus so you can use perk points for other things. If not, it is just cosmetic and pointless.

Well cosmetic itself is the point. Why do people need some extra advantage on cosmetic stuff?
Should this thing have better stats than the normal PPSH because it have different skin?
If they did make it better I’d only do like 20-25% build speed increase. This would only apply to melee class weapons, so ones with existing buffs would sit next to this one but it wouldn’t extend to event weapons and vehicles.

They only started this crap after the haloweeen event that i’m aware of.
Event and BP are supposed to be unique variants of things and weapons… no that plane shouldn’t have better stats because of its skin.
You bring up a BP skin in relation to talks of event reward slop… that doesn’t make much sense.
It’s about the weapon being different than just a cosmetic… that has only become standardized recently… hell even the wrapped mosins i just remember that atleast had a different scrope.
This is simply not true, for the bp the vehicles given are not unique. For event they already started giving cosmetic variant of stuff way before the Halloween event.
They are both cosmetic. If you are so obsessed with talking about event it’s not like event didn’t give you skin.

What do you get from justifying or sympathizing with these slop skins? Proper event rewards are like ptrs scoped or the many unique weapons we have and can be added.
I think there is a misunderstanding… people aren’t asking for these skins to have some advantage but not to include them at all in favor of other unique weapons.

Not sure why you are replying me then, op is asking for advantage for the event hammer and I am against it. If you think skin shouldn’t give advantage then what is the problem here?
But that the point, they give those 3 starred sot it improve their characteristics…plus usually makes a tweek or two.
The point is that it should have a buff like swords, special knives, clubs, etc. So any buff is good…but considering how rare they are…
Because then the skinned event hammer is USELESS…on th BF, you wouldn’t even see it since the Engineers hand covers the rope…and if it shouldnt have an advantage then neither should event swords, knives, clubs, etc.
charge ability and 25% build speed is very generous, + 1
Also, having charge ability means you can charge whitout a bayonet or axe. so you an always charge and have a shovel in the slot.
that,s the point. also if some one get you by suprice, just charge and kill he in melee combat. like we all do whit bayonets.
It’s not like you can’t upgrade the tech tree version to get 3 star. But you can’t upgrade the construction hammer.
So does those camo and cosmetic item.
If it should have advantage, then using your logic, those cosmetic weapon and vehicles should also have advantage.
