I may be missing something, But its not really a “skin”. (you dont apply it to the exisiting tank like a camo or decorations). Its a whole extra tank/version that shows up as selectable for your squad.
Making it no Different than Old BP vehicles (which some have armored tracks on them)

On a Reddit post, the armour was confirmed to not be showing on x-ray but worked on game according to CM Ungorisz, who has that tank on their line up in BR2 anyway, I imagine 0.001% because better options.
So once again a lot of “noise” about nothing… sorry just fed up with naysayers and negativity, can we not just enjoy the game? 
PS Anyone playing event because it’s nice to get Tunisia when you want, besides the fighters them selves are quite enjoyable.

Track armor is not 1:1. Just because it is 20mm thick, it doesn’t mean it would have +20mm effective armor. In fact, the difference wouldn’t be that significant.
It’s pretty underwhelming reward. This tank simply is not one of the fun ones. And never going to be. Even if its MG reload speed would be corrected.
It’s too slow. And its main gun is quite boring. The only reason to play it is when you like the look of this tank.
It’s kinda shame we got this gimmick skin. They could have introduce Churchill crocodile or something more unique like that. There are plenty of unique Italian tanks in WT that are still not in Enlisted as well.

is my part, the rest is a quote that the forum did not pick up as one, i stated against shaped charge in which premature detonation is more important than the thickness of that detonating layer. its why the german added thin side skirts tanks.

That would straight up unrealistic nonsense and in need of fix. Tracks are not some kind of magic protection against heats.
it would reduce the effectiveness of a shaped charge not eliminate it, if it was not cosmetic, have you not been paying attention to the debate, as of now the ‘skin’ is the exact same armor as the base tank. i never said it should be effective as 20mm =of armor that would give the m14 the same armor as the panzer 4, no it should have some effect especially against a shaped charge,
I really like the event. 3 battles seems enough to earn the reward, and playing consistently in good old Tunisia feels nice (only there are too many trees now). Brings back what the random map system is missing - the consistent style of gameplay. It feels more comfortable not being thrown from Battle of the Bulge to Berlin to Stalingrad and Berlin again.
I feel the same, I wish it would be longer with more rewards to it, as there is 0 reason to spend 900 gold on that
I enjoy the event, waited since merge to be able to play Tunisia whenever I want. Also players are often quite good, I’m usually in the second half of our team and it’s fun to be put against capable opponents, with only 1 or 2 steamrolls so far on either side.
Well it’s not like tracks work as actual armor IRL either

Two days since the release of the event, and a single suggestion post for changes to the rewards format has been consistently more popular than the official news post to the event, despite the obvious advantage of visibility that a official post has.
You don’t need to be a medium or a psychic to read this room.
Not only that, two of the top three replies in this news post, both of whom are again more popular than the news post itself, are asking for the exact same thing, that the Lewis should be in the tech tree.
And the official Reddit post? It’s a bloodbath, the main post hovering around 0 or less likes consistently, with again one of the most popular comments stating that once again you’ve turned what should be a tech tree addition into a event curiosity.
Please DarkFlow, do the right thing. There are still a couple of days to change the future event rewards, (people can’t buy ahead a couple of days to get them after all). Replace the single copy of the Lewis with a second copy of the Cei-Rigotti, and save the Lewis for the next major update.
People really dislike getting only one single example of a new gun, and that one of these new guns would be the perfect future tech tree addition. Satisfy both concerns, please.
Devmans: Please take note of how much better the even fight event games are…almost every single match is a proper back and forth, the games are long and fun and I don’t think I’ve had a single boring stomp yet.
And then I go back to playing BR3 ALL RANDOM and its damn Germany 9/10 games and its a weird frustrating stomp (win or lose I don’t care) most of the time
Agreed, in this event I always get around 100 kills and 5000 points, but in real matches, I get around 50+ kills with 2000 points. I enjoy the even fights a lot more than random matches.
While I do not care about the rewards this time around, I did give the event a try last night. I really have to say that I did like that the objectives and game mode were random, so it was always new and the fights were all hard fought and the result very close. I wish they made the Marked Garden event a bit more like this (because that one was static in regards to objectives and game mode).
That said, the not so good thing is the increased points needed to progress in the event. The 5000 points in Marked Garden were just alright in my humble opinion. Also, like hinted above, the rewards this time around were not really my thing at all, those felt better in Marked Garden (although I am still miffed that I can not change the weapon loadout of the paratrooper squad we earned).
