Long time since been at forum been grinded through Axis Stalingrad that total mess is completed.
But yeah been noticing how few players are playing Enlisted overall.
Bots are needed on almost every match i have played since last 100 games or so, and yes not referring just Stalingrad because I bet not many enjoy being there.
Have gotten over 3000 match overall now yay.
Sometimes almost whole team is full of bots or half of it at least.
Are people lost interest on Enlisted or what, who knows but been around long time and I can see how it is going at least for some degree.
Honestly I’m personally also losing interest for the game since there is not much to do than play campaigns just to collect endless bronze and silvers that i dont need for anything.
Goldies are also staying stable around at 10 / 10 / 10.
Maybe for me there is not enough content but for casual players they don’t seem to stick to the game.
New players that stay when “weekend” is over are most likely leaving to other games.
Why? I think they feel that they missed the train and are not going to stay and grind stuff that are unlocked by people long time ago. Still this just my guess but answer to this is not here at f orums because none of them are here for at least for amount that we really know what they think.
Berlin has been my fafourite from the start and veterans tend to play there for some challenge.
Maybe getting bit bored of that too.
But is Enlisted dying of course it is but how fast? I think faster than it should because its a great game.
I don’t usually complain much at least for randoms at internet and my core purpose is just type how i see things but I fear game is not “trending” anymore and this might cause downfall of the game.
Idk, I am playing only for year and nothing has in the matter of players I am encountering.
Plus it’s pretty much norm to say about every f2p game that’s been live for several years that its “best days are long gone”. I really do not respect such unnecessary proclamation.
I think enlisted didn’t live up to it’s true potential yet. All we can do is wait see if merge/new meta will be succes or not.
Btw. Comparing any game to its first months of existence really isn’t objective. Many people are trying it out because its something new/or its simply being mentioned on random reviews and so.
I do think enlisted has pretty consistent playerbase in the matter of numbers (but definitely not big one, but that’s kinda understandable since WWII really isn’t as popular topic as it used to be in gaming industry), more campaigns just make it seems getting smaller.
That’s why we aren’t getting any new before merge happens.
If rely on team tables before the match and player search after, there are not so many bots, at worst half of players aren’t bots, and frequently there are only a few bots in match. Players with bad stats can be beginners or bad players
Enlisted playerbase might be somewhat healthy but the current trend of overloading 1 side with veteran players for each faction might give of the wrong impression to many players.
The devs have been working on an update that tries to deal with this issue but until then it might still be some time.
No, not at all, events do burn people out though, but I myself am playing Big Action custom mod which is where I think Enlisted should be, but I’m end game and maxed on all campaigns…
The base game has as people are saying, all players on Berlin Axis, Tunisia Allies etc which gives impression game full of bots, which is not the case.
I often get into matches which are filled with human players.
Your issue might be either due to time zone, campaign choice, or something much more simple ppl usually forget:
most players, are just very bad.
In the end you’ll think they’re all bots, when a good amount might be human. Sure, it happens sometimes to get into only bot filled matches… But it already did when we started playing 2-3 years ago… Only then, we were bad also… So we thought more ppl played.
I guess 0:30 AM is prime time now and 15+ per day is couple.
But I agree with it. People see no one is building rally points and thinking they’re all definitely just bots.
But that’s just not true. Bots do build rally points quite often now. Buts not really in effective way.
That’s why I said exactly this. I am quite aware that my personal experience cannot reflect experience of every player.

I don’t risk bringing them in just now… there’s just too many demoralizing weapons they might face. I’m staying in custom match with my ward (my friend I try to manipulate…errr… convince into playing), but when he sees me with coomders, mg45, ppsh41 or drum tommy guns… he feels sorry for the bots opponents. I can understand this…
The conversion will bring new blood in. They will be wrecked just as badly by us veterans, there won’t be any more balance than right now, but at least it won’t be apparent, us destroying them with chad mp28 or TOZ gentlemen.
My brother and I have been playing and loving this game for over 2 years. It has it’s ups and downs but playing a WW2 FPS with all these toys and AI has been one of our favorite gaming eras. I don’t think this game is on it’s last legs at all but yet to see the full potential
The success of the merge, and subsequent steam release will be the biggest factors in whether this game grows or stays stagnant as far as player base.
This game is still on active development, and At the very least I think there is a core of players that will continue to play this game until a better WWII shooter comes along.
I am quite aware that my personal experience cannot reflect experience of every player.
