Enlisted Future, Offline Bots

I really hope they will add offline bot support in the future. As all live service games WILL eventually fade out over time. I would hate to see a game I enjoy die. So, it would be amazing to see offline bot support for Enlisted. I wouldn’t even mind paying a small fee for a separate version of Enlisted just to have access to it with offline bots. Plus, I don’t believe it would be all that hard to manage. You have the ai players already there! The only thing I could think of for this separate, offline version would be to severely lower the amount of research needed, and also leaving all customization free. Or keeping items needed with silver to be cheaper. So the items are still earned via gameplay, just not designed to be earned for intensely long grinds, or needing multiple micro-transactions. Do you all have any comments, or critiques?? I would love to hear any sort of feedback!

Ooh, also! I do play Easy Red 2. I know that it could be a great alternative to what I’m talking about. But I really can’t get that same fix playing it as I do with Enlisted. Enlisted’s guns, sounds, gameplay loop all feel extremely polished and enjoyable. But Easy Red 2 is still lovely nonetheless!!!

I got so tired of the non functioning map and mode preference crap that I literally stopped playing in the general game mode. I only do now to cash in my boosters. So, as a person that plays now primarily with and against bots, I think the Dev’s have done all they could to make the enemy bots much tougher, however have done nothing to make our squad bots better, in fact I will say they are the worse they have ever been.

Since eventually Enlisted will have far fewer players and more bots, I would hope they would add this to their concern list. Although players have been complaining about the bots for years, and the only trend I have seen is down.

I completely agree with you. I also noticed that difference between friendly and enemy bots. Im praying that they do something to keep this game alive for the foreseeable future.

Yes live service games eventually die as they depend on active development…. This is a f2p game so why would the devs try to go for a non live service approach?
