In the past, BR III allied forces infantry relied on rifle centric system(SVT38 and M1 Garand) and axis forces relied infantry on smg centric system(mp35/L). Through the difference of infantry core, allied forces and axis force formed different tactical style and keep balance in battle. Now, the balance has been disrupted due mp35/L damage been nerfed and lacking of semi-auto rifle with comparable performance. Axis force infantry barely cannot confront allied forces infantry in high quality matches.
As a weapon at end of Tier 3, it is very resonable to give a enhancement to restore BR III balance.
Yes - Change Beretta Model 38a (40 rounds) damage to 7.0 or 7.2
I kinda like the asymmetric balance of this game and I’d really prefer them to buff other things on Deutsch BR3, instead of submachineguns which to be honest feels like the deliberate shortcoming of this BR.
If anything I’d like to see them buffing the G41’s damage to 12.7 or maybe even lower the BR of some plane of vehicles, like Jadgpz4 A-0, so that the German BR3 could have better experience, buffing submachineguns feels like a divert away from the purpose.
Plus, if anything, I’d consider Berreta M38A40 is already a really good sub as it is on BR3. Not sure if buffing it is a good idea.
At BR3, the German MP35 really is not that good. The fire rate and hit power feels very lack luster compared against other factions, then again, WW2 was very unequal but BR3 SMG Germany should offer something more, idk
agree, some of the people I play with even take a MP40 into BR3 because the MP35 is so bad… I rarely even play an assaulter squad at BR3 for this reason
maybe its my monkey brain, but when i was starting out I assumed that because u unlock the MP35 later on it would be better than the ZK383? appreciate that like 500 hours later i should have looked at the stats before assuming progression = better gun lol
yea, when i was like 40 hours in I had a bad habit of selling the weapons i used for new weapons as like a refit of my squads. Little did I know the ZK is actually better than the MP35
Reload time is the main issue of G41 rifle. 4.8s to reload already make this gun immpossible to be used in battle. 14.4 damage only make it only can’t one shot kill soviet infantry with plate armor.
Otherwise, enhance axis forces BR III rifle will make this BR battle environment silimar to BR V(full power auto rifle spam)(in BR III semi auto rifle spam). So I prefer to enhance axis smg.
In the past, mp35/L has 7.2dmg which means u can kill enemey in 25m with just 2shots(most of other smg need 3shots when over 10m). 6.8 dmg is kinda enlisted universal constant number or smg exam pass line which means the smg just can be use but not outstanding at all.
