Don't you dare keep vehicle balance as broken as it is right now

Vehicle balance has been absolutely terrible for the past months, heck even for a year now.

yet the worst part, the devs have never acknowledged this.

I know you folks are listening, which seriously makes me believe that you are in full awareness of ruining the game with your incredible denial of historical accuracy combined with blatant bias and unfair nonsense.

Specifically, what do you think is out of balance?
Are you referring to the AB41 that explodes when just hit in the headlight with a 7.62mm machine gun?

Agree, just above 100mm penetration for Panzer F2, J, and some other variants, for so called balancing but in fact soviet counterparts had much better post-pen damage.

Fail of realism, Fail of balancing!

Yeah, but it’s kinda hard since we don’t have realistic encounters in the matter of distances. So I really don’t care some stuff doesn’t work as irl.

From balancing point of view also, Panzer 4 have less armour than T-34, so a better penetration of cannon is also reasonable.

Yeah, that’s true.

why do we need “realistic encounters in the matter of distance anyways?” close range tank combat is way easier to balance anyways. Who even came up with this argument? This isnt a problem in warthunder with all those city maps, why should it matter in enlisted?

More serious since introduction of T-34 and Panzer 4 F2 to Moscow.

100% true. The devs are completely incapable to represent those vehicles correctly, while its so incredibly obvious how they performed against each other.

I can not understand where there even is a problem to begin with

Id like to see Overheat removed from the poor little 20mm autocannon boys

75MM longs should be beefier, any 75mm long vs t-34 fight should just cancel each other out.

haven’t really had any qualms of other tanks just yet (that I can think of).

ammunition choices would be nice

also, even if you are “only” biased in your historical view of tank performance, why for the love of god would you still let the vehicles fight against each other that you clearly see as not equal?

Where is the bloody consistency here?

I would say that problem about distance affect more for tigers and panthers (but still quite balanced here), in combat between t-34 and Panzer 4 F2, they generally penetrate each other at any distance when they can see each other.

A gun with 150mm of penetration should never bounce on a 45mm armor plate, it does not make any sense, just as 200mm of penetration should not bounce on a 100mm armor plate.

the guns in this game have armor penetration values that do not add up at all, and then if they do, post pen damage is not existent.

This nonsense needs to change, and as a matter of fact, it used to be different not too long ago.

It still depend on how sloped the armour is, but front to T-34 (76) should definitely go through.

This game couldn’t exist if it made any attempt to be “historically accurate”!

Ive heard it has trouble, But I haven’t got the IS 2 in enlisted so no comment. In Warthunder it blaps most things

I am agreeing, but since they are fluffing Pen data and armor etc, I could see just appealing to their “balance” mindset by saying t-34 and panzer 4 (75 long more specifically, including stugs) should just blap each other. I see no reason why they shouldnt. T-34 would still enjoy the armour advantage over lesser guns, while the Panzer IV can still get blapped by 45mms, Theres no call for restraining the 75mm, Its got a job to do

Sure!, fix that too. Sorry I wasnt disagreeing, just saying I hadn’t used it in enlisted  . In Warthunder Its a guilty pleasure of mine just 1 tapping whoever and whatever.
