Do not add Tunisia to high BR

From Preliminary patch notes for the “Off-road Patrol” update

I believe this change should be cancelled because neither Panthers and 76 mm Shermans ever appeared there historically, nor will it bring and valuable gameplay experience.
It will only make things worse, primarily further derstroying any WW2 immersion that’s left.

Leave Tunisia alone at BR 1-3.

historical context aside that doesn’t hold much value in enlisted,

… tunisia in high br isn’t very enjoyable truth be told.

… unless you like spamming bombs or sit on hills that overlooks half of the playable mission.

That’s what I’m talking about exactly.

It doesn’t make sense WW2 wise, it doesn’t make sense good gameplay wise.

The vast majority of Tunisia maps are not really designed for high BR games honestly for how much they are flat open with little to no cover whatsoever.

I still remember how insane the RP-3 rocket spam was back in the day when the campaign was still a thing. Now imagine even more powerful bombs and rockets from airplanes(Jets included since it’s high BR) etc etc and the grey zone camping from the BR 5 tanks, even further from any of the map we currently have.

I vote no because Tunisia is a very heavy map to play on in BR V, and that was proven last year when the tests were done. Tanks are freer to wreak havoc on infantry, not to mention power, freedom, and democracy falling from the sky Of the P-47s and Meteors

The developers should add more and new maps to Enlisted instead of taking the easy way out by using existing maps just to make BR X have more maps.

That patch note is misleading.

Euthy said it’s only BRIV on kahif cave village where vehicles aren’t nearly as powerful as other maps.

Regardless… there isn’t any ww2 immersion left… if you don’t like it then leave the match.

There weren’t crusaders in the pacific either.

Also you don’t play BR3+ anyway… why are you just trying to ruin it for those who do? Your ideology about this game has become irrelevant the second they introduced the merge.

I like it. This has given me motivation to build BRIV US and Germany lineups… i wouldn’t have done such if not… they are trying to give more reasons to play it such as introducing a map you haven’t seen in awhile that has been reworked from the usual Tunisia vibe of flat open land with minimal cover.

There’s plenty of cover and buildings to avoid vehicles… I desire greatly to use the increasing power weaponry in a campaign I absolutely love.

I’m bored of playing the same maps… and the new ones they add like Omaha aren’t suiting my fix.

I plan to mainly play BRIV Germany in anticipation that I get this maps… I’m sure you couldn’t even say you’ll be queuing up past 3 for other reasons you refuse to step in its tier.

Oh wait… so that’s why you don’t want this in the odds that you get up tiered to this map.

Well guess what every other time you get up tiered there is equipment present that didn’t fight in its theatre… just like if you didn’t even get up tiered… so therefore that point is how do you say “irrelevant” and moot

In terms of gameplay, the Tunisia maps are not suitable for BR 5. They are too open for such powerful vehicles and weaponry.

If you’ve followed my posts and threads, do you really think ny genuine gripe is being uptiered?

I equally don’t want to be sent to North Africa if I take a BR4 Panther just as much as I don’t want to see Sherman 76mm when I am in Tunisia.
It’s anti WW2.

FYI that’s kahif cave for br 4
Not br 5, just in case others think it’s for br 5 as well

And again… there are many other cases of equipment that didn’t touch the theatre you’re playing in… so in reality you just shouldn’t be playing the game anymore if you care so much about that.

And if so… I think you should only build 100% historically accurate lineups and desert until you get its said campaign and exact time frame. Otherwise you’re just grasping in to this desperately while not backing it up.

The merge was anti WW2. It is the exact same case as the other maps… at least there was equipment that was in Tunisia… but some that wasn’t… exactly like low br… so again your point is quite literally irrelevant… I don’t mean to be rude either.

Furthermore… you will never use the panther… so I don’t know whey you even brought that up.

Why not other Great Tunisia maps too? Or do they become really bad gameplay wise?

While I personally enjoyed it I am not blind enough to say that the aircraft weren’t overpowered on it… because they were.

I sympathize with your desire for history but in terms of overall gameplay I believe all maps must be simply all BRs. They should do the same for Moscow as well. Make all maps equal once and for all

I would gladly support all maps all BRs provided that simultaneously we get the BR+Map Ban System, so that people who just want to play alt-history WW2 could do that and people who want to get a ‘normal’ WW2 match could wait for it to load as well.

I think it’s fair that you get your desired as well… I would support that idea.

Agree i dont wanna easy maps to get bombed be on high br

Low brs is where they belong

Kahif cave village is not an easy map for aircraft.

My personal historical rule is I go by the year for simplicity. So the Panther was produced starting in 1943 so I guess that means I will use it in Tunisia

If the Enlisted developers want to sell Gold-currency squads from older campaigns, I believe all historical campaigns will be unified under a shared, high-tier matchmaking system.
