Kwantung forces dissolving and folding into Soviet ground forces definetly does not count as Chinese (nationalist or Communist China both) fighting side by side.
I’m not even against the Soviets getting different ethnicities for their troops (I want Indian and East African troops for the Commonwealth where they historicly fought, for example), but Chinese weaponry straight into the TT is just nuts.
Never was a fan of Chinese troops in Europa or Africa, either.
If you polled the general population of Enlisted, you’d find that this was never something people wanted or asked for, and people would definetly welcome ways to segregate foreign units from places where they never fought.
Just because the devs have made some bad decisions doesn’t mean we have to roll over and accept them forever, the game is constantly being worked on, they can change things for the better.
We need this:
I’ll happily play fantasy games for events, then I’ll retreat to custom servers for the real fun.
Since we already have some BS in the game, do you suggest we open up all maps for all factions and have the Americans defend Stalingrad from the Japanese?
Of course, I spend all day racking my brain on that forum.
It’s not a bad decision to have squads from other nations, we just need a system that prevents us from playing With Chineses outside of Burma and the other nations too that didn’t participate in that battle.
Did many of your friends, the ones you knew, not return from the war?
Yes, of course. Well, there were guys I was friends with who were the same age. Well, let’s say a year more, a year less. Well, there was a house nearby. So there were three people from the family who didn’t show up. In one family, four people didn’t show up. And there was a Chinese man who had about 14 boys. Here from these boys did not come home, probably, man 6-7.
So, the Chinese, too, called?
Well, they had Russian wives. They, the Chinese, there we had. There are a lot of them in Siberia in general, especially in the eastern part there. Here for Irkutsk, Chita. There is the Chinese border there.
When we were passing through China, Chinese from Mao’s army were put on the armor of our tanks instead of our motorized infantry. In one village, a Japanese man was captured, and in the next town, these Chinese gathered all the locals in the square, tied the captured Japanese to a log, and slowly, in front of everyone,
The Chinese (Communist/Kuomintang armies) also never fought alongside the Red Army. Even more so on the Eastern front.
Never had joined operations, never had united command.
USSR and Germany, on the other hand, had a joint operation to occupy Poland in 1939.
Should we have German squads invading Manchuria, according to your logic?
