Do not add Chinese weapons to Soviet tech tree

Yes the USSR had some asian populations, but that doesn’t mean the Chinese army was fighting alongside the USSR

China absolutely can not be a subfaction of the USSR. That is ridiculous, even by this game’s standards. The best solution would there to one day be a Chinese faction. That entire theater of war is ignored

To explain any preconceived notions, the Chinese army did not participate in the Manchurian campaign. Manchuria was fully occupied and incorporated, the majority of fighting between China and Japan was in the south. Sure there may have been some guerillas aiding the Soviets in the north, but the Chinese army proper was not involved

Yes, yes. Everyone understands that joining the Chinese camp is the best option. But if the developers don’t like this choice, then we can only choose the second option, which is
A large number of gold coin selling teams
Supplying weapons to the Chinese teams
For example, the Chinese team of “American Arms”
And another example, the Chinese team of “Soviet Arms”

Even I can say that at that time, China had an army composed of Chinese people and equipped with perfect German weapons, along with pure-blooded German instructors.
Of course, Japan should be excluded. This would cause diplomatic disputes.

No, and I would much prefer if China was its own nation but its content wouldn’t be too unique so what I think they should do is have them go to BR 3 max and when you fully grind chins you could get a booster for all other nations.

so a sub faction without tanks, almost no planes, that’s not a faction that’s a joke please feed silver to me id love to stomp a Chinese faction without us or ussr tanks and planes.

Funnily enough I suggest that previously.

USSR supported Mao’s forces during WWII and USSR already has a bunch of German and American tech so adding anything else necessary for China would be fine.

Yeah bro I’m gonna drop out of the Chinese race. I gotta start suggesting a ton of Italian things for a mega suggestion that I’m gonna make.

If China was a part of USSR I would envisage Chinese squads in Soviet uniforms for Eastern Front battles.

We agree that China itself didnt fight alongside USSR or against Germany but as @Mahoro said there were lots of ‘Asians’ in the Red Army (actually from northern USSR and so forth) but I really dont think it would break the game since they are just Asian appearance and none of the Enlisted models are truly representative of human faces or genetic differences anyway.

I have doubts that making China a sub-faction would really work but if it would it would make more sense under the US.

if they want to give the USSR a new bolt action rifle, just give them one of the Enfield rifles from Estonia(I think) or a full-sized Arisaka rifle from the USSR’s previous encounters with Japan

Those options are at least theoretically possible. There’s no way a chinese rifle is getting all the way to europe

Hell make china a full faction in the Chinese server, in fact remove western and eastern allies from the game so china can beat the axis on its own
Flip that remove only the us so china can reenact Chinese history and beat japan by utself

See my previous comment:

“USSR supported Mao’s forces during WWII and USSR already has a bunch of German and American tech so adding anything else necessary for China would be fine.”

Whereas random Chinese weapons in the USA-UK tree and especially Soviet wouldnt make sense in my opinion.

and boring, i am not oppsoed to a chinese faction made up of us ussr and japanese gear. i am opposed to giving them copy paste weapons from enlisted, t34, m1 carbine, bf109, type 97 ect ect. New weapons from warthunder or original weapons from said factions would be fun. in general people do not demand that china have all chinese weapons they demand the majority of it is copy paste from warthunder and not enlisted.

The Chinese forces during WW2 were far more coordinated with the Western Allies, with support from the USSR being fairly limited once the Soviet–Japanese Neutrality Pact was signed.

That’s because of balancing issues, isn’t it? Sigh, 6.6 damage is no longer suitable for top-tier matches now. With the new pre-order pack, the Soviet faction already has three premium squads equipped with PPSh SMGs. I’m growing increasingly concerned that without adjustments to their strength, it’s only a matter of time before they’re removed to make room for new content. As assault rifles and automatic rifles continue to improve in damage and fire rate, the advantages of the PPSh have almost entirely diminished. Just like the LAD—it really belongs at rank 3 anyway, given its limited ammunition capacity.

Adding it to the tech tree feels too敷衍. If they really removed this, we could demand new Soviet weapons from DF again—that would actually be a good thing for the Soviet arsenal.

Then we could request that this weapon be added to the Soviet faction as either a premium squad or an event-limited squad, forming a complete Chinese-themed unit. That would still benefit the Soviet faction.

So I oppose adding it to the tech tree.

Didnt they have some kind of soft block system back in the days ?

aka equipment X has least chance to appear in map Y, only if the game cant be populated otherwise.

But generally, this “issue” doesnt really bother me. But I dont really mind either if theres somekind of soft restrictions added.

Makes as much sense as putting Italian stuff in the German tech tree…

Italians and Germans had joint operations (like North Africa / Southern Italy) and were part of a military alliance, whereas USSR not never fought alongside the Chinese, but also fluctuated between supporting Kuomintang/CPC.

In that case, we might as well turn this into Battlefield 6 and just let everyone have everything… Mixing nations wildly just to expand the arsenal, even when they absolutely shouldn’t be together, is awful.

If you want China as some kind of sub-faction, then it should be under Japan, as the puppet state the Japanese established. But adding them to the Soviets is absurd!
