I can give multiple examples of how these devs are in fact toddlers. When they make a change that they come up with on their own and not one that the playerbase is asking for it always ends in fire. This would not surprise me in the slightest.
If You are good, with 1.5 from victory and 1.5 hero reward You should get around 1000xp per 1 minute of match.
10 min game 10k xp
30 min game 30k xp.
±20% if You farm killl with planes, tanks or hmg
I hate conquest too. Confrontation is just going back and forth between 2 objs the entire match which is lame as fuck. I prefer assault. Also, game is only fun when the teams are balanced, one side being curb stomped is not enjoyable for anyone
I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who actually enjoys conquest.
Confrontation CAN be fun, but there definitely needs to be a set time limit. I’ve been having 90 min+ games of it and at that point its rather stale. (If an xp multiplier was added for longer games it would be ok.)
Assault is kind of cool but nearly impossible to win as an attacker unless you manage to get a lot of coordination.
Destruction (bombs) is pretty fun but has its moments when its not.
One of my absolute favorites that I wish they added more like is the train one. Fighting over the armored train is pretty fun.
Lastly is good old invasion. I still really think this could benefit from more engineering opportunities, but thats just me.
Overall though, I think each one should get various additional bonuses that players can get beyond just “best at x” awards. It would really help move progression along better.
I like conquest (not all the time of course). For example unlike most other modes it gives more opportunities for flanking.
Generally it gives an opportunity to do something besides sprinting to the capture zone in a suicidal kongo line.
As long as you enjoy it, props to you. We usually have the issue where we take one objective and go to take the other and nobody stays to defend the point we just took. The opposite too, where we take and hold objective, then nobody goes to the other one. Its just extremely difficult to get people to work together.
The problem is that devs shouldn’t come up with ANY ideas on their own
Developer is there to develop the game from initial idea and then improve and polish that game from player suggestions. No devs should ignore players and come up with things on their own as it will always end up bad
Correct, but also, some game modes have the potential to generate far more points and therefore more progression. Conquest usually is too short to really generate much in the way of points/ progression, for example.
