Custom workbench

In the game Sniper Elite Resistance, you customize your weapons on an in game workbench. Why not add a workbench to Enlisted and allow players to customize some of their weapons? Allow players to change stocks on SMG’s, shorten barrels on rifles and shotguns, and maybe add sniper scopes to current NON scoped weapons. Some Example like the FG 42, G-43, Johnson 1941, T-20 or M-2 Carbine plus Soviet and Japanese rifles. I would not be in favor of letting people do this to every weapon they had, but maybe limit the amount of weapons the player can customize.

Would you be in favor of Enlisted having a workbench where you can customize some of your weapons.

Yes, that would be wonderful.

idk…

do we really have the time in mid combat to swap weapons for… all of our soldiers?

i’d rather being able to do so from the respawn menu, if anything.

but that’s prolly complex and time consuming.

I think you should show us really in detail the mechanic of it, some people are gonna think it’s going to be like vanguard which nobody likes to see.

I wouldn’t have the workbench during the game, it would be just a custom feature that you could make changes like when you’re in your weapon inventory when you’re not playing,. In Sniper Elite, you’re an individual soldier and there are workbench check points, but that is not how I would want it in Enlisted. It would just be a customize weapons option where you could customize a certain number of weapons, but not every weapon. If it were considered, then the number of weapons people could customize could be addressed.

Pushing firearm customization to an excessive “DIY” level would strip the game of its World War II historical authenticity and realism; after all, no soldier would ever modify their weapon in the heat of combat—unless, of course, they had absolutely no intention of fighting or were simply waiting to surrender.
