Concerned about the direction of the game

I dont post too often in game forums or reddits. Mostly because devs don’t tend to care andcoften don’t listen to the community.

The direction of the game in reguards to explosive spam is not looking good. I have purchased premuim and battlepass. However if the explosive spam isn’t addressed. I will most likely unistall.
A nerf to arty is still needed. Cool down maybe 2 minutes? We need deployable cover for arty. Or at least if you are in a building you are safe.
Planes are a pain as well. I fly often when I feel we need the fire power, and it is a strong tool
When i stsrted this game it was great infrabtry combat with a few tanks and planes to deal with. It was manageable. Now most deaths come from arty or planes. I miss getting shot.
I am not sure if arty is death inside a radious or have sharpenal that has to hit you, I do not know the mechanic. The tank He feels right. I cant comment on mortars, I dont think i even seen one or been killed by one…

Just ease consider reducing the explosive spam or giving us good counters. Current AA is a joke

friend if you keep spamming the same post you will end up in trouble with the moderators if you have suggestions or complaints for a constructive purpose you are free to post but always saying the same things makes you pass for a spammer and I do not think you are :slight_smile:

Hello friend! I would ask that instead of uninstalling the game please refer to my video on teamwork. Yes explosive spam can be frustrating but you must understand that it takes real skill to pilot those attack aircraft and the best counter to a good enemy CAS player is information shared amongst the team. If your entire team focuses on killing CAS it will go down I promise. Communication and teamwork is the only way to take those birds down. Not nerfs. This isn’t Call of Duty friend :slight_smile:

I understand that it takes skill to pilot. I fly quite often and contributed to said spam. About the only time i get shot down is when i turn around for ammo and enemy plane spawns in behind me. I think once a ground aa got me. I used aa to destroy planes but you have to have them so well lined up. I just no longer use my engineer squad as there are others I wish to train up.

I wished tean work was rewarded more in this game. In a way people noticed. Ps2 has a great way to letcyou know your spawns and ammo and what not helped. Heck i wish we would get points for thriwing smoke gernades. Teamwork is just very limited in this game.

Artillery: 0 skill to use, literally just clicking on the map where you want nuked, impossible to counter

Mortars: minimal skill to use, extremely difficult to counter

CAS: basic competence to use, somewhat more competence also to mitigate, but impossible to stop outright as suicide planes will still get through no matter what.

Personally I’m concerned about a whole lot, not just explosives spam. Many current issues have been there since when I joined alpha in 2020 (pretty much all of them except for those that were introduced more recently), and the deeper I dig into game mechanics the more broken things I find.

When it comes to specifically explosives spam, maybe consider temporarily switching to solo fighters mode? Things are less crazy there. It’s not a real long-term solution and that mode has a lot of other problems, but at least it’s something. Unless that’s what you normally play already, in which case there is no hope.

Either way developers seriously need to up their game. Both metaphorically and literally.

I whole heartedly agree with you, please ensure that you voice that opinion to the devs when the next survey comes up. They do listen to us they just don’t have a dedicated PR person I think for English speakers.

Agreed, please refer to my patch notes video on how the devs are addressing the issue. They are aware that the artillery is an issue. We just have to let them know we either A) Don’t want it in our game or B) Lock it up tight at max campaign level so that only seasoned vets have access to it.

But that is just my opinion, and most people think I am a jackass :slight_smile:

I honestly hope that the developers add the option for “lone wolf” players to Queue in squads mode along side the squad players. That way the “Lone wolf” players can sneak around and take out enemy Mortars or Radiomen.

Yeah good luck cooperating that with randoms every match and telling them what to do. No friends of mine want to play this beacuse of this shitshow and i don’t blame them

That is basically why I am trying to start a “teamwork cult” Code name Blue, we might not be in squad but if we see each other in game we say “hey blue” and work together over spotting and comms to win, sound like a good idea? :smiley:

That way we have a group of guys who can work together without having to group. Foster a community of team minded folks who want to just have fun and play the game… and you know… win :smiley:

Lost a Normandy match (Surprise surprise) due to the enemy team just cycle spamming kamikaze at us with at least one radio team just going cyclic on the artillery. it was legimately not fun.

On the ground via tank v tank, infantry v infantry we were better collectively than they were.

It would be interesting to have arty only able to call x amoint of times a match spread out thriugh the squads. May e one extra for the dedicated radio squad. Instead of having a cool down upgrade have a plus one to arty attack. I have no good suggestiob for bokbers except make rhe aa have 2p roubds instead of ten.

So is this an issue, or is it an issue in terms of the games you’ve played? I see that they fixed a serious bug (mortars) in a day, why don’t they fix these then?

The real issue lies in how wrong gaijin marketers are trying to sell the game to a Western audience, which is literally hooked on Battlefield-like casual ideas.

I’ve been here for two months and I like everything: the idea, concepts, maps, weapons, classes, modes. Yes, everything is disgustingly crude and unfinished, but if the developer does not change something for a long time, but at the same time fixes thousands of bugs, then this is part of the idea of ​​the game. And if you don’t like what the game is about, you don’t need to fool yourself with your favorite WW2 setting or your favorite genre, because Enlisted plus or minus will remain where it is now.

Want a good example of what I’m talking about?

  1. It’s still impossible to fully set up controls. There’s an option that allows to choose the type of activation (on press, on release, on quick press, on double press). The option has been there for more than a year and it still does nothing. Toggle sprint? Impossible. Toggle zoom? Impossible. You can do some simple coding yourself in the settings file to make it work with some actions, but even then it doesn’t work for most actions.

  2. Progression is still detrimental to the game instead of adding to it. You’re just grinding to play slots over and over. Players have no control over what unlocks next and very little control over what they’ll acquire next. It’s all split up into separate campaigns where you’ll be unlocking and getting a lot of the same things. This even extends to unique paid rewards. Want to use that cool ancient Berdan’s №2 with your Soviet soldiers outside of Moscow? Tough luck.

  3. Bots in game mode “without bots”.

  4. Airplanes still don’t fit with the way game modes currently work. They are annoying both to use and to face.

I can go on and on. I’m not just ranting here either, I’ve been leaving detailed feedback since the very beginning. They’ve even seemingly acted upon some tiny portions of that feedback, but the bigger picture remains just as bad and directionless.
