Classic revive system (No self-revive)

Self revive is annoying because:

  • Hight TTK - knocked enemy is still dangerous, despite it took bullet in the head
  • Ruined atmosphere

So I suggest classic revive system:
When downed - soldier lay as it was dead, cant be killed and has 10 sec (more with perk) to be revived
Soldier can be revived by:

  1. Any player of any class
  2. Squad bots
  3. Medic bots

Medkit of a wounded soldier is used at the first place, and only if he hasn’t, then medkit of reviver is used.

About SMG squad-wiping capabilities - I think, that bots should act like a squad, so if one squad member has been hit, all squad bots turn in direction of a hit.

I think current system is rather ‘downed state’ so the soldier is wounded and have a possibility to revive/restore his health. And that is fine, because not every wound is deadly.
By the way, never seen a soldier in game, who survived a headshot. I assume that was a cheater. I’ve meet some players that could not be killed. Mostly they disable cheats after some time, to avoid any suspicion.

pistol caliber at distance is ~10 dmg, so there is high chance to survive

Haha wow that’s crazy. Headshot should be lethal for every weapon. Some hitbox upgrade maybe?

Also We need penalty for low HP to increase the importance of medic and healkit.

I have never seen a knocked enemy after headshot.

I see, that’s why. I basically dont use handguns.

Useless suggestion

1st the medic after the merge are fully implementd in all faction
2nd with the fast pacing of the game there is no way to survive once your controlled soldier are down on the frontline, you and your squad and whoever try to help die in the next 5 second by the enemy fire

Isn’t that logical?
Or couple soldiers on the knees bandaging their d**ks in in the center of a battlefield is more atmospheric and cool?

So you have both options for revive in Enlisted + a specialised medic class and somehow that displeases you ?

But isn’t that already in almost exactly how you proposed? You might have not noticed because:

  1. Any player of any class doesn’t care about allies 99.9.9% of the time
  2. Squad bots, medic or otherwise like any other bots are brain-dead, makes-ogryn-look-brilliant-by-comparison useless.

Yep, Enlisted isn’t HLL.

If OP wants more atmospheric game but less enjoyable, I would highly recommend it.

Currently we have self-revive

Medics constantly heal someone if there is no enemy.

AI medics or players? That’s a pleasant surprise in either way, especially as I could swear I haven’t seen AI do that before.

Yeah, and it’s particularly cheesy with the 2 second perk. But the alternative of hoping the AI won’t get stuck or hoping to run into that 1:100000 player willing to pick you up sounds like a problem in it’s own right.

It would be both viable and cool if the AI was more reliable. That much I agree with.

All AIs, even player owned. If a player does it the reward is alot of score.

Getting someone up and fully healing them as a player will give you somewhere close to 200 score even. That’s a good time investment if u can afford 3-5 seconds.

I tried it but it wasn’t for me. The community is very welcoming, but I am more solo player. And you really need to communicate in HLL, and that was kinda overwhelming for me. So refunded it.

But it’s certainly more atmospheric than Enlisted, that’s for sure. Braindead rushing over open is pretty much impossible there.
