Yeah especially as an event weapon I don’t mind like increase the ammunition belt to 150 or even better 200 or just introduce the MG81 as a event weapon like the stinger
It is not a rare weapon for the MG42 to occur in an event.
900 is the Stock or Unupgraded rate of fire
Once you fully upgrade the Mg 42, you will see that figure rise to about 1100
Enlisted should probably show the maximum characteristics of weapons as well as their stock characteristics

Add an Auto Slow firing mode would solve this. Also this mode for MG34 as it has an adjustable firing rate.
