To be clear i am well aware that the United States was the only country to mass employ shotguns on the front lines of WW1 or WW2. UK and Germany as well as even USSR and Japan made only sporadic use of shotguns at best. In fact japan did not even manufacture its only purpose-built guns but took civilian donations.
That being said i would love to see an even squad armed with these unique weapons the first civilian semi-automatic shotgun. Many people have put forward shotguns for Germany and USSR. Including single shot guns that would need a br0 to fit enlisted.
An irregular unit based on the hunters that donated their guns would make an excellent unit. You can see a belt of bullet cases and guns in the pictures easily replaceable by the shotgun. I would love to see more unique units that represent the culture of each faction.
Representing the Allies with smaller countries, Australia, NZ, Canada, S Africa. The Axis with Hungry, Romania, Bulgaria and more Italy. The Mongolians and Latvia for USSR and japan with countries like the Philippines and Korea. In closing i would like to see more shotguns in the game and perhaps more pistols even if both dont get much use.
While I’d like to see more shotguns added, I’d prefer shotguns designed and manufactured in the countries for which they’d be added. Like the Winchester Model 12 Trench gun for the americans
Take the Winchester Rifle for Soviets for instance. The US did not use it, but the Soviets had some left from WWI. So, by your logic, these weapons should be given to US. But by HA logic, the Soviets should use them.
Giving the manufacturer preference everytime is just US preference.
Not saying you are completely wrong, just saying this rule does not always hold.
Don’t split the Yes vote into four, then you will always get no. Instead, do Yes-No, and then another vote for the four factions. It gives you a more representative view.
Otherwise when you find intresting guns like you often do, it is going to be no all the time and we don’t want that.
While I said that I did not mean it quite that way, I should’ve elaborated more. I meant it more in a way to represent what nations actually used. Captured weapons were certainly used but they should, in my opinion, nearly always be a second option after domestic products.

and give any class that used a rifle as a primary or secondary (rifleman, at, mortar, radio, engineer) a bump in br2
you know i mean it need to be a br3 pistol not a br3 smg dont misrepresent peoples pots
i dont care if its only two mags in br1 you would have a pistol better than most smgs and face no mgs unless up tiered
